Addiction: Started dipping at 19 - quit for multiple years at a time multiple times, but always came back to my dark master, the Bear. Reached the HOF with September of 2010 (but stopped posting maybe at day 50), and think I started dipping again in December of 2010. Just tired of the cycle and have bought in all the way to KTC.

Married: Happily married for 11 years. I have beautiful 8 yr old identical twin girls.
Hobbies: Texas Holdem and ice hockey
Addiction Details: I've been a slave to the nic bitch for almost 20 years. Started dipping in high school because I thought it was cool. I've been abusing at least a tin a day since that time. I tried quitting by myself countless times. I previously reached HOF with the February 2011 Class. At a certain point, I told myself that I could "take a vacation from quitting" for a short time. I deluded myself like addicts often do. I'm not going to let that toxic shit give me mouth cancer. I promise to post every day and to stay quit with the February Underground.

Married: married a texas cowgirl 15 years ago, 13 year-old son, 10 year-old daughter. I venture to say there is no more happily married man in America than I am.
Addiction Details: Started dipping at age 28 (what a moron). Dipped on and off for 23 years. A handful of very long quits mixed in there, repeatedly fell for the "just this one time" lie. Not really worried about the health issue of it, more so my self-esteem, not hiding from my family, just being a pansy controlled by a can of dried leaves, living a lie

Addiction Details: Started dipping in HS around age 16. I've been chewing off and on for the last 12 years. I smoked cigarettes occasionally but always came back to the can. I've quit several times but I've never managed to stay quit. I'm afraid of losing my jaw..

Married: 3 Years - 3 Yr old Mason

Addiction Details: Started in HS, not quite a habit then. Started playing pro-ball at 18 and it became a full blown addiction. People i looked up to were using so i felt it was appropriate to do the same. What an immature, dumb, and selfish person.

I would chew 2 cans of Grizzly Wintergreen a day, then moved to pouches. My mouth became so raw at times i would switch to pouches because i was scared. At the end of my "obsession" i was chewing up to 3 cans of Skoal Xtra Wintergreen pouches a day. Do the math on that. What an immature, dumb, and selfish person.

November 17th, 2011 i decided to become Selfless, and recognized the blessings i have to live for. A friend of my friend was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer at 36 with 2 kids. Bad luck, yes. Lifestyle habits? Probably. A swift kick in the @ss for a quit and a slew of changes....U bet. Sick of worrying, sick of thinking about what could happen...

NO more rolling the dice, NO more statistics, No more left to wonder. The time is now, cause we never know when that time is up. I QUIT. There's no other option.

Married 15 years one wonderful 2 year old daughter I am thankful for my family

Addiction: I was riding in a truck with one of my buddies when I was 16 and he offered me a dip I said no. He stopped the truck in the road and said what is one dip gonna hurt. The rest was history. I turned 20 and reality hit when I was 21 I had stopped. I went 11 years with maybe 3 dips when my dad passed away. When I was around 34 I met up with one of my old friends that I went to community college with he offered me a dip I dipped 4 more years sometimes two cans a day. My last dip was on 11/11/11. I almost had one on day five and found this site and got educated on smokeless tobacco. If it had not been for the things I learned here I would still be dipping.

Addiction Details: I started chewing tobacco with Red Man when I was 19 yrs old when I was in college playing football. I quickly switched to Skoal Straight for a couple of years and final settled with Skoal Mint Long Cut. I can't tell you how many cans I have bought, the amount of money and I could go on and on.....
Fun: camping (rv style), watching college/nfl football, and cooking out
TMI: I decide to quit after I had LASIK eye surgery which was the first or second best thing I have done for myself. Of course quitting maybe first but it is sure nice to see. I figured if I was going to spend $3500.00 on eye surgery then I might as well stick around long enough to see everything now. I really don't have any urges or desire to dip and most of the time that I think about is when I forget to post roll. I post role for the cause of the group and what it means to me to have support. My good friend is a January HOF but has quit posting role cause he doesn't think about it. I am grateful for him to encourage me to find this site, but I think he missed how the support is so helpful in the long term with ourselves and the newbies!!! May the path of our decisions go noticed and accountable!!!
