I've already been quit two days and from reading the information on KTC's website, I 'm in "the fog" right now. I'm actually writing this in school because I can't focus on anything. I looked at the site for about two weeks before I finally decided to quit. I've dipped ever since I was in the sixth grade and I'm a junior in high school now, so that's about 5-6 years of dipping right there. I originally dipped grizzly for about 85% of that time and I started to notice that it hurt to put a dip in about a month ago. Now, I don't have cancer or anything like that I don't think but it just hurt. I thought the probably was that I dipped grizz all the time so I switched to what my dad does, which is red seal. That didn't really help so I decided it was time to quit. For many reasons.. I wanted to be able to have clean white teeth, instead of yellowing ones. I DIDN'T WANNA DIE. I wanted to be able to kiss my girlfriend anytime I wanted to without her being disgusted by the dip I had just spit out. I didn't want whether I had dip or not to decide my mood. But I'm quitting for me, and my family and girlfriend are being very supportive of the choice I've mad. But shit, I'm just ready to not want nicotine anymore, you know? I'll be joining the pre august class to quit, and I've found already that this site is very helpful. Just shoot me a message on here if you want to know anymore. Kudos.

Today is my first day not dipping. I skipped my usual morning dip routine and even flushed both cans of my red seal down the toilette yesterday. I still have no idea how to use this site, but I'll learn.

Nice catch, WP!! Good looking out.

Welcome, drummerdude. Glad to see you here saving your life. Focus on your quit..... one day at a time. Understanding this site takes a while. Until you get it, folks like Wastepanel have got your back. For right now, you need to do these things:

1. Post roll in you HOF group. It's not just a name on a list, it's a promise not to ingest nicotine for 24 hours.
2. Keep your word. This is of utmost importance.
3. Get some contact numbers of quitters here. Send a PM and any body will give you their digits. Get acquainted. Text/call some folks.
4. Develop a plan. You MUST know what to do when the rough spots hit you.
5. Read, read, read on this site. The more you read, the more you'll understand how dedicated we are to helping each other quit.
6. Repeat.

I'm dropping you a PM just to check in. Reach out if you need anything.

Get rid of all your spitters,  be commit to this. Next go buy some jerky chew, sunflower seeds, gum,  toothpicks. After that be ready for some serous cravings. Fight em off because it gets easier.

Drummer you got a little lost in the inner workings of KTC, you still with us buddy? First things first hit the welcome center, pinkish thing right under the KTC banner. Read up on how to post roll, then go and do it. It's our daily promise to not use in any form.

If your day two, your in pain right now, reach out and were here. Get involved and read up.

In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone.
