Day 183. More than half way to a year quit. Great for me. I read yesterday that nicotine, cocaine and heroin are the 3 most addictive drugs known. The fact that 2 of those drugs are illegal and nicotine isn't and is used to inslave millions of people worldwide really pisses me off. Fuck you US tobacco. 'Finger'

Also check this out. 183 Days Free / $617.63 Saved This year I will save over 1200.00 kinda like giving myself a 60 cent raise just for quitting. Nice.
Outstanding!!!

I like to look back and see where this journey has taken me and I really like the idea of giving myself a raise!

This past weekend my journey took my to uncharted territory .... I went on a hunting trip without Grizzly Wintergreen....... well it was great the other guys at camp were chewing a ton and they both offered me a shot once but told them both to go enjoy thier own cancer causing agent I was done with that shit!!!

Day 163. Really weird dip dream last night. Sitting in a bar with my wife and friends drinking some beer and accidently pick up someones spit glass and take a big swig. I remember thinking, "Oh no, this tastes like wintergreen chew." and spitting it back out. Then feeling guilty and considering if it counted as a cave or not. I decided that it didn't since it was an accident.

After 163 days that fucking nic bitch is still hanging out in the shadows. Fuck her.

Quick update. The dr, after looking at it and feeling it move around is almost 100 percent sure its a benign type lesion. :D So we will just have to watch it and see if it continues to grow or shrink on its own at this point.

Times like this only strengthen my resolve to stay quit !!!
Congratulations, and remember that many quitters have issues after getting good news from the doctor.

Not saying that you will struggle, but use this to build your resolve (just like you said). Very fucking proud of you buffalo.

GR8, Included you and your son in my prayers as well. Please keep us updated.
Quit 8/14/12 and taking my life back one day at a time.

If you don?t control what you have access to, what you have access to will control you.

I?m trying to remind myself daily it?s not the absence of conflict that determines whether or not my relationships are healthy. It?s knowing how to handle the conflicts that will arise.

Character is who we are, not who we pretend to be. It's better to be shaped than to be fake.

GWB - My thoughts and prayers are with you and biopsy. I'm sure you're fine and it's just part of the healing process. Congrats on your HOF induction and 100+ days. Day 17 here and all of you guys inspire me to stay quit one day at a time.

Hope your son heals up and is ready to go next Thursday.

Day 138.

Its Friday and that's about as good of a spin I can put on things for today.

Last night my son played a hell of a football game for the first half, 10 tackles at LB and 2 catches at TE and 1 sack. Then proceeded to roll his ankle in the 3rd quarter and is now on crutches. Probably just a high ankle sprain, we will know more later today.

I also found a small nodule on my lower gum that I have been keeping an eye on for a couple of weeks. It is the size of a BB. Showed it to a Pathologist, who is going to do a FNA biopsy on it later today to see what is up. I am not going to tell the wife about it until I know how serious it is or not. Hopefully I am just being a paranoid son of a bitch. It comes with the job description. Screening for cancer all day long makes you really dwell on it. Too bad I was such a dumbass chewer for all those years.

Dumb.

I shared my HOF speech with my wife last night. I felt more than a little nervous standing there as she read it. Funny how I can open up more when I write something down compared to verbally expressing myself. She understands the addiction and has been quit for many years from cigerettes but still has cravings til this day just like me.
congrats on your HOF! I too open up better writing. quit with you...

I made 100 days today. Wow. I never thought it would get here. Thanks to KTC, I am a free man today. Still an addict, always will be but a free addict none the less.  Level 1 down, who's up for another lap?
Way to go brother. That is a heck of an accomplishment. Keep that bitch in her place one day at a time.
GR8...you have the attitude needed to win everyday and stay quit. I hope to see you at day 200 and way beyond.

Congrats.
