Speaking of badass quitters, check out this thread: whsii intro. He had a similar plan as you and just but the hall. I know without doubt he would still be banging a can if he didn't man up and QUIT as opposed to switching delivery methods. Toss your crap and post day 1 NOW, not tomorrow.

You've got a lot to learn. This site isn't for people who "will" quit. And it isn't for people who choose gum over tobacco. It is for people who QUIT. That means no nicotine right the fuck now!!!

I wish I were welcoming you because I know (we all know) what you're battling. But until your ready to go cold turkey, we can't help you. You'll just have to sit on the sideline and watch the badasses show you how it's done.

I started chewing 26 years ago in High school because it was cool. Well Thanksgiving day 2011 I will start a new cool habit NOT CHEWING. I would have never thought chewing could rule your life. Almost like you can't function without it. Well after several warnings from the dentist to quit I think it's time. Through a program at my work they offered a nicotine gum I am going to start to wean myself from nicotine.
