I am always up at 3 am, my body does not like to sleep. When I read lack of sleep as a side effect of quitting I figured I was screwed, but it turns out I am not having any problems, maybe once, since I trashed the can. I find I am far more alert at 3 am than if I were to wake up at 5 am.

souptonuts,
Congratulations on your quit.

Posting roll in this thread/forum (the Need a Group thread) isn't really the proper place or what this thread was set up for. By posting day 27, I figure your quit date was Dec. 18 (or so) which would make March 2010 your quit group and where you should be posting roll. I'm not sure why you aren't posting there yet. Maybe you just didn't know?

Anyway, in lieu of that, I am moving this thread over to the Introductions section, as it is more appropriate over there. No big deal. I'll also drop you a PM in case you don't see this before I move it.

Take Care,
Rem
PS.
I was waking up super early as well, when I first quit.. Wide eyed and bushy tailed at 3am....

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05

souptonuts--Day 27 sleeping has changed. I suppose I hated myself over tobacco. I look forward to getting up now.

I'm not much for graphics; sorry. Rising at three AM is the new normal. How does this relate to killing the can? Because I sleep better!
