Is this girl gone already? Thought she might be a badass since she adopted a pirate as her screen name. Come on back in and post a day 2 Anne Bonny or walk the plank.

Great to have you here Danielle! This is the toughest part - getting started on your quit and getting going on the beginning of your new life. It will be a new life, trust me. YOu want have to worry about spitting and hiding your dip from people. You will talk more. You wont have that nic bitch holdng you back from doing things.

Did you get in a quit group and post roll yet?
Be strong and be glad you are now on the right track!

Keep reading stories on here - they helped me a lot get through the first few weeks.

Post roll, read and repeat. That's all there is to it. But don't forget to take note of what you're doing here. This isn't a place to dread or fear. This is a place to kick Nic's ass. Embrace the suck. It is the feeling of healing!!! If it were easy, everyone would do it. But it isn't...and that is what makes you a bad-ass.

Never miss a chance to celebrate your new freedom. YOU GOT THIS!!! Get pumped about it. I am.

Grab some seeds, gum, candy, fake, and drink a ton of water. The water helped me immensely. Read everything on this site. All of our stories are similar, someone here has been through almost exactly what you're going through. When in doubt ask questions, someone will offer support or advice. Congrats!

Hi Danielle, glad to see you posted roll. Male or female we are all addicts, so jump in, read anything and everything here, get some numbers of people to text with, and we'll quit all day today!

Well I am finally ready to put the plug in the jug when it comes to my 10 year nasty affair with chew. Sick of feeling sneaky and defensive and don't even get me started about going to the dentist...major downer. Always been a tomboy and one of "the guys" but it is time to grow up and stop pretending that I was going to quit next week etc etc. So I really could use some support, I have almost 7 years sober off alcohol so it's time to be spiritually and physically free from chew, and all nicotine products. I'm scared and realize I can't do this alone. I don't want to let my mind high jack my body.

Thank you
Danielle
I can relate!
So glad you decided to be a quitter.
THis place will help you, I know from experience.
Today is my day 8 and it's the longest I've gone in the past two years when stopping.
Now I QUIT.
