Hey guys, just thought it's better late than never to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I'm on day 5 of my quit. I've been dipping (mainly Skoal) for the last 7-8 years. Started my Junior year of college through peer pressure. Thinking back on it it's just so ridiculous I ever got addicted to this shit. The first 5-7 Lips I ever packed put me right on my ass, litterally had to lay down after them. Anyway I've stopped a few times, made it 2-3 months once but relapsed with my cousin. A little about me: I'm 28 years old, live in CT, love hockey, football and my cats, I work at my fathers autobody shop with hopes to take it over one day. Got to the point where I affiliated everything with dipping so almost everything I do on a day to day basis is a trigger. Working Blue Collar has always enabled me to dip while at work so no doubt it's been difficult to sand and dismantle cars without any Skoal. However, there is no denying this site has strengthened my resolve, when I post roll I feel like I'm not just quitting for me, but for all of you as well. So anyway, hello all, glad to be a part of this great website, and lets kick Skoal's ass together.

Mike aka Stone
Welcome to the site, Stone. Your story is like so many others here. We are all here to help you beat this addiction. The routine is very simple, post roll every morning. Keep your promise to not dip all day and night. Repeat the next morning.

Get numbers, email, anything you can that will allow you to communicate with a quit brother when cravings SEEM too intense. 916 sent you his number. He's one of my closest quit brothers. He will get you through any tough time as he's done for me.

Be strong and stay quit.

Stone day 5 is doing good! As the days begin to fly by they will get easier. You know we all did very foolish things driven by peer pressure , addiction and just plain stupidity but none of that matters anymore. The only thing that matters is what you do today: post roll early and keep your promise! Sure that sounds simple and it is but we need extra help some days, get plenty of #'s so you have someone to contact in the times of need. Pm me if I can help in any way.
