I have used Copenhagen for over 27 years. Started with Ranger School, and never stopped. I promised my wife I would quit on our wedding day, that was 18 years ago. I am finally able to admit to myself that it tastes like shit, and I hope this really is the last day I ever have a dip.

Who would have guessed I would find myself writing a post to some blog about a habit I thought was my friend, but now I know its really the opposite.
Welcome brother. I quit with you today. This place makes it easier, not easy, but definitely easier.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I just threw away a perfectly good can of Copenhagen...Until today I would have punched someone for doing that.

I'll get on roll-call tomorrow and let y'all know how its going.

Thanks.
I don't think there really is anything "perfectly good" about a can of Copenhagen.

Welcome aboard.

I quit with you today.
Agreed with Stranger here. I know why you feel that way right now, but you will be disgusted with that stuff in very short order if you buy into the program. The cost? Post roll every day and keep that promise. That's it. Make sure to get yourself back here and post up tomorrow.

We are always at risk. And probably always will be. That is why I will never get "too quit" to post my +1. Every. Damn. Day. - geis2597

Say "no" one day at a time. It's three days of hard suck then it's a mental game that can last weeks or even a month or more.

You CAN beat this.
Man up and be a quitter ODAAT. Post Roll EDD. It works.

ODAAT: One Day At A Time
EDD: Every Damn Day

Ranger. Welcome to KTC. You are NOT ALONE. You will get support like you would not believe on this site . My advice is read all you can here. Drink water and a lot of it.

Admit you are an addict just like me and EVERYONE else who is here.

Go over to this page and post roll call every day. It is your promise to you fellow quit group brothers that you will NOT use nicotine in any form that day.

topic/11341759/16/

Then next day do the same. Get to know guys in your group. Introduce yohrskef. Exchange phone numbers with some guys.

You CAN DO THIS!
