Remember what they say kids.  You can't go home again.

Klark and so many of you have taught me that very valuable lesson.
Not what Bon Jovi says.

"You take the home from the boy, but not the boy from his home These are my streets, the only life I've ever known, who says you can't go home.

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright, it's alright, its alright.
Who says, you can't go home..."

Bon Jovi is like the smartest guy ever, don't you know?

And you used to be "someone" around here? Child please.

I understand your points and I can tell you guys are serious quitters by the number of posts you have in a short time.

That said, I need not nor am seeking your trust.  I am not seeking disciples, followers, acolytes, protegees or minions.  I am merely offering lessons I've learned in three years.  As they say, take what you want, leave what you don't.

All of that said, there are reasons I will not go into specifics of everything that happened this time last year.  It was very hurtful to the site for many more reasons than just me.  All I can say is that I regret my role in everything.  I was very disrespectful to those that operate the site and I'm sorry.  I am actually very proud that through everything that happened that involved much more than just me, chewie, loot and all the admins kept it together.

Gator out.
I'm sure you understand our concern, as history has a way of repeating itself. The basis of this site is to help people get away from nicotine, specifically smokeless tobacco.

The site works on peer support. Anything brought in and presented to create "sides" is contrary to the ideal of the foundation. We support any and all who wish to be a member of this community, not only for their own good but for the greater good of the cummunity.

Sadly, there are some in society who, for whatever reason(s) have difficulties in life and these can and are often projected into their surroundings. While we have many pages of entertainment, some made purely for distraction and some for the enrichment of the bonds between us, our primary goal is to help people quit smokeless tobacco.

We promote the bonds of friendship and community and must provide some form of protection on that, while maintaining an open mind. This is a difficult balance to keep.
Mj...your concerns will be your concerns. I cannot do one thing about that. I am just here posting roll and some occasional thoughts. Anyone wants to read them fine. If not fine. I'm not concerned with others' concerns. What got me in trouble last time.
Fair enough gator. Let's stay quit today. I'll be glad to quit with you.

I can't speak for apple, I just found it interesting when you jumped on Scot and you hadn't been here for a year. He went through a lot to get back here. Took more of a lashing than I've ever seen (which I understand is not that long). He held it together, kept both feet planted and has proven himself. I know time will tell for him, but me and others are hopeful for him and believe in him.

You on the other hand I didn't know at all. It seemed you were coming in and perhaps getting all that started again. The sight has seen it's share of excitement this month, just wondering if your involvement will be more of the same.

Srans out....
Like I said on Scott's thread...I was here when all that went down. He knows why he's getting the reactions he's getting. If he truly has repented, so to speak, he will push on past the criticisms and prove everyone wrong. I hope he does.

Ok... your Stuart Smalley Daily Affirmations are neat and all but, bro, I need a little more context before I can lay on you the trust some of the other vets have earned by BEING HERE.

There are some miles to your quit, there's a story to be told. If it's painful for you... I get it. BUT... new quitters like me learn from that. We get a clearer roadmap of this whole journey. I read your thread. I, and maybe others, still need more. Some of the implications hint at a li'l dooshbaggery. I'm not gonna trust some cat I've never heard of to pop back in my family, claiming to BE family, and expecting to be included AS family...

Some of you no doubt quit because something went wrong.  You either got a sore inside your cheek, or a lump on your tongue.  You then made a deal with the God of your choice...let this be OK and I'll never dip again.

Been there.

Saw somewhere this week Clarque went to the dentist and 99 percent of his cheek tissue has healed.  I know you read my blog, so congrats Klark.  That's good stuff.

For those of you who quit because of some self diagnosed health problem, here's a warning.  After a few weeks, when the lump is gone, or the sore healed, you will be glad you dogged a bullet and tempted to return to your vomit.

Just don't do it.  And I write all of this because I know for someone on KTC, that temptation is coming.  Prepare for it now.

Gator out.
So very true. It is why I caved before..... You CANNOT quit out of fear of cancer! That fear WILL diminish. And then the foundation of your quit is gone. You need a solid foundation, one that is built out of hate for the addiction and what it takes from your life!
