Quote from: jammer1Hello everyone, my name is Mike and I started dipping everyday when I went into the Marine Corps almost 7 years ago. I started with different flavors of skoal but quickly turned to copenhagen as my drug of choice. After getting out of the service in 07, I tried to quit on a couple of occassions. I had recently worked up to dipping 1-1.5 cans a day and decided enough was enough. I bought some herbal snuff and mixed it with the cope, gradually putting less cope and more herbal into my gums. Since august 1st I've had no tobacco in my system and I know this time the quit is for real.
The first week was rough as hell, now I mostly have one large crave a day, usually at night. Another time is when I go into a store I usually purchase dip from. I need to remember to avoid that when possible.
Mike - congrats on making the best decision ever. Now find your group and post up. Let everyone know who you are and do it everyday.

I am day 4 but know i would not have made it that far if it were not for this site and the guys/gals here that know what we have been through and will go through.
Fuck em all and fucking no regrets.

Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings so that you shall come easily by what others have labored hard for.
