Nope. Not gonna wish you "luck", because luck has nothing to do with quitting.

Luck is finding a $10 bill on the street, or hitting the mystery number in your bowling league.

Quitting takes hard work, serious WANT, a big set of balls, and support.

You provide the hard work, want, and balls...we provide the support.

Why do you want to quit, by the way? You never mentioned that. Tell us a little more about you and why you are here.

We all used to call ourselves "the big dipper". Now we are proud to call ourselves QUITTERS. Join us. It's a hell of a lot better to be a quitter than some d bag calling himself "the big dipper".

I know that from experience.

This is possible. We were you. We are you. Quit one day at a time and the body will heal.

I used to call myself the big dipper. I am a stay at home dad/student/part time worker at the Home Depot. I am at the end of day 2, and my world is still vibrating. Quitting drinking was easier than this. Wish me luck.
Hey brother,

Welcome to KTC,
Are you cold turkey?

I'm only on day 14, but I'll tell you, it gets better, and everyone on this site is dedicated to keeping you quit, as long as you are dedicated. Check out the info on the welcome center and start posting roll in March 2014, i believe will be your group, post roll every day and make a promise to all of us to not use nicotine in any form that day. An admin will reply to this message soon and fill you in better, I'm still fairly new to the site, but I do know that it and these people are keeping me from my addiction. stay strong through the suck and the fog. We are all with you brother, we know how you feel.
