Title should say 20 days quit after 30 years of using.
I know, I know, you vets don't give a shit about my quit because I don't post roll. But, I know I am not the only quitter who comes here and doesn't post. I read the threads daily.
So you just made a post. What does that mean? You want some "interaction and accountability", but not too much, and only the right kind.
I'm no vet, but I don't have a problem with you posting here (outside the quit groups), or lurking in the groups.
But I think we both know that lurking is not enough for you. Otherwise, you'd still be lurking. We are not looking for "fans" that watch from a nice comfy seat in the stands. We are looking people willing to suit up, who are willing to commit to the team, to put it on the line.
Read all you want. There's good stuff here. Stuff that will help you quit even if you keep going it alone. But you don't want to go it alone. You've failed that way more times than you are willing to admit.
One of the biggest obstacles in my quit was admitting that I needed something other than my own self-reliant bad ass to finally quit. That something else was a bunch of bad ass quitters holding me accountable. lurking here, all get is a bunch of bad ass advice.
