Hmmm...I see 4 consecutive days of Roll posted! :o  Dare we add you back to the Active Quitters list? Are you ALL IN?!  'Popcorn'
I have to say that although I may be in the woods, it is not the backwoods. Why in the previous you say goodbye but yet are back. Please we need explain
I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't trust this child for nothing. Smells like he caved and realized he needs the site after all, just too afraid to come clean.
I agree with wedge. Actually I smell a serial caver here.
I will go with what has always been true to me in terms of gut feelings:

"Guilty until proven innocent"

The fact that this guy can come on here at random and not be accountable to anyone, at any time he chooses, dismisses him from the group. He needs to explain his theory of not posting, explain why he suddenly has decided to post, and execute posting on a daily basis for a minimum of 10 days. He has trolled too long to be let in on a guest pass. I am willing to accept him into our group but it has to be on the terms of the KTC way, not his way.

$.02
I say we definitely have another caver here. Posting roll is an everyday thing not just when you feel like it. If I went 10 days without posting roll do you think I would be trusted? Hell no. Accountability...Accountability...Accountability. Post roll or leave, your choice.
I don't post you are assholes. I do post you are assholes. I quit nic over a month ago. I decided I needed to post roll to be accountable to MYSELF. Those of you who will never be satisfied with me can go to Hell.
Wasting time!! Ksquitter go buy a day planner and write your promise in it every morning! You don't need or want us, so play with yourself and continue your quit. Good Luck! Luck is what you will need without support. You don't need 'help'
ok well it looks like i am not going to get an explanation for the long absence. I have been really trying hard to think of how to put in my reply here. Was I going to go off on someone, or not. Well I rather take this with a level head for now.

1 - you came here to us, truth.
2 - you have not followed the protocol for the site, by posting each day as in the creed set forth by the site, truth
3- you have spoken ill of those members considered veterans on this site as well as those who would be within yor quit group, truth

4 - as per the sites encouragement, UNKKNOWN, as to whether you have collected any phone numbers from those within your quit group so that not only you would reach out for others when there is a question to yourself of craving and/or caving, OR on the opposite of being available to have others trust in you, to reach out to you for help in others time of need.

- This last point is a hidden benefit from this site that if you do not jump in and agree and/or want to follow, then it is just like you would be quitting all by yourself.

I would say there is a lot of trust to re-gain to be taken back into this group.

My last point that I would like to make is if this is not for you, as it may not be for everyone, then you can either use what WT suggested, or www.qssn.org to help you.

I am out of wind, thought, and feeling, so it is your choice now to do the honorable thing of asking the Oct group for help and support or we can just say parting is such sweet.....
Still don't quite get it do you? KTC is more than the sum of one. You, by posting roll, are part of a group. We ALL quit for ourselves and post for ourselves, that is a given. What we have done to this point that is far different than what you have done is maintain accountability by checking, calling out, reprimanding, etc. other members of our quit group when they fail to post roll. You did not want that remember? Now all of a sudden you are posting roll for yourself in our group. It is an open forum and no one has begrudged you posting roll if that helps you stay quit. Whether you think we are assholes or not, matters not. The quit is what matters. If not respecting us and quitting in spite of us keeps you quit, then so be it. But if I were you, I would stop and re-think your definition of respect, something keeps you trolling through here.

First of all, you assert that the "vets" don't care about your quit because you don't post roll. I don't think I qualify as a "vet", but on the off chance that you might be referring to me, I'm gonna respond.

Do you know me? Do you know what I care about? For the record I care about your quit. I lost a grandfather, a mother (54) and a brother (51) all to tobacco related deaths, I watched each of these deaths occur. Unlike getting hit by a bus, the type of death that tobacco sentences you to is a slow one.

The quickest death was my brother... 18 months from diagnosis to death - That one was throat cancer. He went from a muscular 200lb man to a 98lb shell in 18 months. I watched as he lost his ability to speak, the ability to walk, the ability to successfully accomplish the things you and I take for granted. He died this past December.

The longest was my mother- 7 years from diagnosis to death. I watched as nicotine and emphysema claimed her life one inch at a time. The pain and suffering she experienced is indescribable. I watched it all happen, and I am damn sure that I have no idea of what that pain and misery felt like. When blood oxygen levels fall, organs shut down a little at a time, and incredible levels of pain are the result. I also watched her continue her addiction right down to the point that she was no longer physically able to. Step 1: smoke a couple of puffs, Step 2, start coughing, continue until you catch your breath, often several minutes later. Put on oxygen. Feel a little better.. Smoke a couple of puffs, start coughing....

So forgive me from being pissed about your intro, about your posts. They insult me. They make me think of the casual way in which you are treating your nicotine addiction, and your dismissal of the lives that are being saved here on KTC.. They insult me because of the opportunity that you are squandering... an opportunity I wish my mother, brother and grandfather had.

Don't get me wrong,,, I like the fact that you are reading what this site has to offer, I like that you are quit. I do not want to see anyone else go through what my family has, I also hate big tobacco with a passion that most outside of this site cannot comprehend. Each day you don't use is a small hit in their profit margin.. Things like that give me joy. But, given that this program gives you an edge that translates into 3x the success rate of quitting alone, why in the hell would you not use it?

In closing - Why is it that you refuse to post roll call? After all, you are here often enough to post here and to stop back to read the responses... Roll call certainly takes less time than that. So why? I suspect it is because you are still not committed to your quit- still not sure that it is going to be the last quit. I can promise you as long as you think that- it will not be your last quit. Our addict brains are pros at leaving us an out. That's why this site is so effective- If you value your word, your integrity, it leaves you no out. When you post roll in the morning it means NO for all day. No wiggle room, no rationalization... just a simple NO. But you aren't there yet, are you? You think that you might return to your addiction, and you don't want to explain yourself to all of us when you do.
I meant no disrespect to you. You are on of the few people here I respect........

Title should say 20 days quit after 30 years of using.

I know, I know, you vets don't give a shit about my quit because I don't post roll. But, I know I am not the only quitter who comes here and doesn't post. I read the threads daily.
Quit being an attention whore and post roll or gtfo.

Hugs sM
Okay. I'll go. But I want others out there to know that berating people and using foul language in every other sentence isn't necessary to quit. I wish you all well in your nicotine free lives. I will enjoy mine.
Against my better judgement, I am going to respond to you ksquitter. I am going to lay bare the core of my soul and the blackness within.

First of all, you assert that the "vets" don't care about your quit because you don't post roll. I don't think I qualify as a "vet", but on the off chance that you might be referring to me, I'm gonna respond.

Oh don't forget cat's like to shit in the sandbox so you better go to the doctor, you probably have a parasite yourself.
Hey, cat shit parasite. 27 days.
Good for you!

I would rather see you post up drink the kool-aid and quit with the October group but your a special butterfly who can do everything all himself, so why dont you just go on about your way get your quit on and stay off the site!

But really you just want to come in here and shit all over everyone who is going with the program...I say go fuck yourself!
"Whoopty Freaking Doo"

KS, you own that shit! Its all you gorgeous. Hey go to a trophy store and make a plaque to yourself.

I can't believe you pissed Grizzly off. This guy could have been one hell of a support and teammate to you.

Before anyone will respect your personal quit, come back when you are a thousand days quit and boast. When you are 27 days, your quit and war has only just begun sunshine.

I have over 5 times the number of days quit on you. I would have caved on day 28 without my guys here. No question. I wish you luck but I roll my eyes at your stubbornness to prove a point. A point that is full of denial and risk. However, you have to make a statement. Make it. Post up at 100, 500 and then a thousand.

I'll be here....will you?
Not sure the point you're trying to make really. If you want to say the site is all BS, then say it and walk away.

If you want to post roll and be commended for your individual efforts, go to a different quit site.

If you want to offer your quit as inspiration to other new quitters, post roll in our group (Oct 12), contribute on a regular basis, and encourage other quitters who fight the fight daily like you apparently do.

I say apparently because you are accountable to no one here and there is no reference point for us to validate your quit, which, outside of your word, and judging by your reluctance to commit to our group, is suspect at best.

So, don't come on here, sling insults at people, and post how easy your fucking quit has been.

What is it and why are you here?

Are you some attention whore who is ignored at home? Does the wife/domestic partner go elsewhere to seek intimacy because you cannot commit to it? What is your fucking deal? Do you need to feel special to find a reason to stay quit? Is that why you hop on here, when the quit is getting tough, you need some sort of feedback because any is better than none at all. Instead of reaching out for help, you post another annoying commentary so you fire up the diehards. After all, it is attention.

Just curious, have you ever been part of something bigger than you, something where you weren't the center of attention, something where you were merely an afterthought? A pawn in the game?

I ask because that is what KTC is. It's something bigger than all of us. Something that, because of all of us, is as successful a program as it is. None of us have to be the center of attention here, we are here to support the cause of new and old quitters alike. If you can't wrap your simple little mind around that you need to just go away.

You want to prove to me and others that there's more to you than meets the eye, post roll with me and commit to doing it every day. Personally, from what I've read, I don't think you have the makeup to be quit and stay accountable to anyone, including yourself.

What say you?

Post up or take a hike. While I'm glad when anyone kicks the can to the curb, we are following a recipe that has worked for thousands, and it is working for each of us. If you have your own way, great, go do that.
Jabbing the quitters in here isn't going to help you or us..
