More about me while I wait for some words of wisdom. At least I hope to get some inspirational words. I started dipping when I was 14 and I am 35 now. This is my second attempt to quit in the last 5 years. Thinking back this is where I lost it last time. I took my family out last night with another couple we know to play pool etc. I didn't know the man in the couple was a dipper. He pulled out his can in front of me and I smelled it, not intentionally. It has been really stressful ever since.

title says it all. How do I talk myself out of what I am thinking about doing. My thought process right now is this formula: stress + dip = no stress, anxiety + dip = no anxiety. Anyone please words of wisdom? I just spent an hour on the phone with my mom trying to reason the reason I shouldn't start dipping again. I am on chantix but that isn't cutting it. I am using hooch but its not cutting it right now. I just read this sort of thing happens. How do I get through it.????
Post roll and keep your word.

This will pass, but only if you stay clean. Get your mind set right. Eliminate the option of dip from your life. You got to want your freedom more than anything else. Believe in a future free from your addiction. A future that does not torture you any more. But the only way to achieve it is to stay clean today.

Anyone can stop, but can you quit? A "Stopper" versus a "Quitter"

Welcome to the group. How do you get through it? First, go post roll call with the group you will be in. likely April group, promise not to use today. Next grab your balls and fight it. Show the nic bitch who is boss. Remember back to the first few days and how bad they suck, you dont want to go down that road again.

Lots of bad ass quitters in this group and I quit with you but you have to stay quit. Get in and post roll and promise to not let your group down for 24 hours. You can do this.
