Hello, I just dumped all my cans and have decided this is the day that I start a new life one without a dip in my mouth! I am a father of three with typical stressful issues in life and relied on dip to ease the days. I'm hoping being part of this site will offer the support that I need to get through this and never look back.

Well well mr teller.
you've made the best decision you can to dump it all. Like you I am a father of 2 but what this site has taught me is the following:
- never hope, just go ahead a do it, one day at a time. If you have read, then you have noticed that each day we pledge our word (post roll) to not use anything with nicotene for the day. Then we honor that word. If you can get that done early in the morning, then there is not the need for hope, instead it is the need to honor your word. So no hoping (in this context)
- also the support you look for can also be the support that you provide for others, whether that be to those in your quit group by holding them accountable, or by just making a couple of friends that you can text or call and talk to during the down times
