I'm so pissed today!
It's day 14 but it feels like fucking day 2 again.

Every little thing is annoying me like crazy.

I wonder if I want to cave because stuff annoys me or
if stuff annoys me because I want to cave.
(does this make any sense?)

I know I have to fight through this shit but I just had to vent.
Wait til you have a day like that at day 71/72/73! Sorry man.. bad news ahead! LOL... however days 20-69 not so bad! What the hell? Coach Steve said I was still reprogramming! Dude you want to cave because you are an addict! Thats why i want to cave.. thats why we all want to cave.. Good News - we don't have to! Gooch

been there, it will go away soon! From what I've read it will be back but we will be stronger then too!! stay quit - I quit with you today
Just a damn phase. Everyone who has made it 2 weeks knows what you are saying.

I am 161. Keep rejecting the call for nicotine and it gets easier and fun too.

You still will have set back and frustrations. Do what you did. Vent here.

Only quit daily. Don't think in terms of quitting forever. You have felt great and you have felt like shit. It is going to be like that in phases but you will soon see them for what they are.

Don't sweat it. How you feel today isn't forever. You may have a strong crave today. It wont last. It probably will be gone by tomorrow. Not now, not today.

Laughing helps my craves. Go to chat if you can. They can usually get me laughing.

Anyway, go through it with determination to keep your word and say no. Not today. See how you feel tomorrow.

Use this space to vent and be able to look back on, kind of like a journal. It is the impulsive thought that you are describing. Whether it is the chicken or the egg that came first doesn't really matter. All you need to do is to be able to identify that impulse and wait it through. Impulses are quick and reactive, addictions last forever.

Stay quit

Welcome Gridspace!!! This is the best choice you have ever made. Congrats! Click on the Welcome Center link above and start reading.

Learn how to post roll. If my math is correct, 74 hours means this is Day 3. Post roll, stay strong and stay quit, brother!

Hey everyone

Time to say hello.
I stumbled over this site while searching for infos about quitting and decided to quit. I'm about 74hours without shit now. (Fog is lifting a bit)

I'm addicted to Makla (the only stuff available here) and Dip (Kodiak) but I also smoked a few cigs a day. So yeah pretty much everything with nicotine in it for about 13 years on and off.
I was clean for a few years in between but always got back into it because of:
"I can handle it now just once won't make me addicted again"
we all know how that works out.

NOT THIS TIME I WILL BE STRONG

P.S.
I'm from Switzerland and english isn't my native language so please bear with any errors you find.
Welcome to the land of the free (from nicotine slavery) Grid. Well done on posting roll. The only English you need is "I Quit".
