Happy Halloween fellow Quitters....figgered i'd add a journalish entry to my intro thread, since Day 20 is TODAY, for which i am QUIT!!! One of these days, my list has on it to research how to quit the oral fixation of quitting. That sure does sound funny, and now I'm super curious what kind of results Google will provide when I type that in hahaha. Nicotine long gone from my system, but ever since 20 days ago, IÂ’ve had either Hooch, Smokey Mountain, shredded beef jerky, or sugarless gum in my mouth. There doesnÂ’t appear to be any KillTheFakeStuff or KillTheGum websites out there to join, so IÂ’m gonna say maybe that shit ainÂ’t so bad. AinÂ’t nothing compared to the nicotine anyway. I honestly do not think that I can quit each day if I did not have at least one, if not all of these in my arsenal of weapons. Heck, my checklist before leaving to go anywhere is actually longer than it was before I quit. Keys/wallet/phone/chewÂ…check. Now, its keys/wallet/phone/fake chew/gum/shredded jerkyÂ….check. So, for now, gotta live with the longer checklist. Not too confident right now that the checklist will ever shrink. IÂ’m making a guess that it eventually will, but certainly is not in the foreseeable future anyway.
Now just waiting for the sore throat to go away that popped up a few days ago...
