Feeling nervous and a bit on edge today...almost like a mega boost of energy, but not sure where to use it.

Craves are what they are, they come and they go. The nerves seem to be sticking around. Either way, feeling good, am focused, will get past this bump in the road.

I've gotta admit, I'm feeling pretty strong today. Didn't get sick last night at all, I was up outta bed once.
My headache is all but gone, stomach not full of acid.

I'm taking some greens powder I picked up from Walmart as part of my exercise / supplementation routine. I actually got it to get extra veggies in my diet, turns out it's a great way to detox. I just wanted to mention it mainly because it's cheap...think $15/ for 14 servings, and if it does help get the shit out of your system faster, well worth it I think.

Be Well My brothers and sisters,

Good info. You may wish to share this thought and resource with a post in your December 15 quit group.

Otherwise keep the intro going so you can remember how much progress you are making. (while showing future quitters it can be done).
Great job on the quit. Eating a ton of veggies and fiber during the first few weeks helped me deal with the nausea and with certain digestive difficulties. It gets amazingly better after a few weeks. Keep on committing, one day, one minute, a time!

I took everyone's advise and peeled the patch about a half hour later. Not had nicotine in any way, shape, or delivery method since.

I AM QUIT.

Thanks for the motivation.

You will find this motivation works in both directions -- the Brotherhood part of the KTC logo. Your quit helps motivate my own.

The next piece is Accountability. This is what posting roll is all about: promising to yourself and everyone else on this site that you will not use nic in any form today. Make that promise first thing when you wake up. Make that promise to quit one day at a time. Make that promise every damn day. See your fellow bad ass quitters make that promise with you -- get their digits so you can help record their promise if they are away from a computer -- or remind them their promise is overdue if they are late to post roll. The accountability is not about controlling you, it is about you controlling your addiction.

Be stubborn. Be accountable. Use this site and the brothers you gain to quit ODAAT/EDD. That is how we all beat nic and quit.
I don't know that I've seen KTC wrapped up in such a nice, neat package as Nomore's post, but this is really good stuff right here. Take it heart Freebe, this is what this place is all about. If you need anything, feel free to reach out brother.

"Not thinking about nicotine is for people who've never used nicotine. We threw that option away with the first dip or drag on a cigarette. We are addicts, and cannot become un-addicted." - wildirish317

Glad to see this intro after the chat session. Even happier to see you quit now instead of waiting for the weekend! You have an opportunity with Big Brother Jack, take advantage of it. PM him if you lost his digits.

Go to the December 2015 quit group, introduce yourself, post roll.

Then go to April 06 and post roll in support there.

Be active here, get mad at people here (spare your loved ones), and quit EDD with us.

I am delighted to quit with you today.

I'm a QUITTER!!
« on: September 02, 2015, 07:22:00 PM »
Hey guys, I just wanted to say hey, sota give you my background, and assure you all that I am committed to the quit.

I start using snuff back in 1982, I was 12 years old. Loved the rush it gave me, seemed like it helped me to work longer in the fields and all...I'm a full blown red-neck!! Time pases, like alot of time...

I've been married for 22 years, have 2 great kids, one at Ohio University, one still in high school. I've got a get job working as a IT application specialist for a large chemical company. I love working out, sorta get crazy with it...ran my first OCR this year with my son.

I'm a long LONG way from that kid working 16 hour days on the farms.

Chewing was the one part of my past I could never put in my rear view mirror. I honestly don't like it, can't taste it, and it's was just a habit...and it's one that I will beat.

So, here I am with you..a group a seasoned quitters. Looking for help, guidance, or the occasional kick in the ass.

I AM Quit, I WILL Stay Quit.
