Day 6 and the crave ain't so bad today. It's there but manageable. The hardest part is when I am driving. That's where fake comes in handy. It's instinctive to just throw a dip in when driving so I been using SM and grinds.
As long as you're winning! Whatever it takes. Great job
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Stupid question but how do you guys count you quit days? The day afteryour last dip or when you spit out your final dip? I know it's a silly question but Im just curious. I'm going by the day after I spit our my last dip.
the day that you spit its out flush it tell yourself no more and commit is day 1.
So I am actually at day 5? If my last dip was Aug 30? Sweet!
yes you should be i quit at like 9om on january 7th so that was when i started that instant. flushed a can down the toilet at work and went to bed starting my quit
Thanks for the clarification! I will adjust roll with clarification
anything to help out.

Day 3 in the books! I'm back from bowling and I was successful in not dipping! Grinds were a big help. Bowling was a major trigger so it was a big test tonight.

I had a lot nic fits today. I never gave in. But I had fake in most the day. When do the cravings stop? For you long timers do you still get cravings?

with 3 kids you have no choice but to quit.....just remember that if you put a dip in you are basically endorsing and encouraging you boys to use.....you are telling them that if life gets hard it is perfectly sensible to put stuff that causes cancer in your lip .....because we all know that all of our problems disappear and never come back when we put a dip in......once you get through " the suck" trust me it gets better.....for every vet on hear that says they still get craves remember that there are just as many who don't....my craves last for split seconds now.....you are in complete control of your brain and mind, not the nic bitch....with you being in complete control of every decision you make how could any reasonable father choose to put cancer shit in your lip.....you got this man it gets better and easier with each passing day
Thanks I appreciate that! I am quitting for me this time. I have quit for my kids, my wife, my folks, hell I was even the guy that if it gets to $X.XX I'm quitting. Never stuck. I need to be selfish for once and do it for me. In the long run it will benefit my whole family. Thanks again!

Day 2 of my quit.
The good:
I stayed quit today
I ordered a sample pack of SM
I utilized the chat and this site to help me during the tough stuff
The bad:
The cravings!!!
The shakes
The increased anxiety, I suffer from that to begin with.
Did I mention the cravings?

Overall I succeeded today and look forward to roll tomorrow.
Sounds like a win, I would buy seeds, gum, jolly ranchers anything to keep your cravings down to a minimum. Wish i would of made it into chat today but this hurricane crap had me doing other things today.

Stay quit today and tomorrow is another great day to be quit
Everything you mentioned is completely normal. It takes a real man or woman to get this shit done. It's hard, it sucks and it really boils down to how bad you want it! It's gonna suck awhile but oh well, its not gonna kill you and it's worth every damn second of it! I quit with you!
