Joe, welcome. Ditto what these other dudes have said. I came here looking for answers 41 days ago and found them. This works. Follow the rules and it will work for you too. The rules are simple: post roll every day, use no nic, repeat the next day.

Glad you're here. I quit with you.

Joe,
Welcome to KTC, bro. This is the place that will help save your life. Read the HOF speeches and Words of Wisdom. Explore. Send PMs to the Vets and Newbs alike. The most important thing, I believe you can do is to post Roll Call. Everyday!! That way you're promising your fellow addicts that you quit just for that day.

I'm glad to quit with you today.

Welcome in Joe, glad to be quitting with you. Nic is always gonna call your name... That is the decision we made a long time ago, and thats why we are all here now. But that doesn't mean we have to give in anymore. Post roll, make a promise for one day only and tell that bitch were to stick it everytime she shows up!! Everytime you do you gain a little ground. She's always gonna be there but we don't have to listen. Welcome to the grind! We got your back.

Joe,

Good Choice on Quitting!

Here is my help--I hope you take it.

You are an addict--Only an addict would conteplate putting a cancerous substance in their mouth (especially after painful surgery). Of course you know you are an addict or else you would not be here. The good news is that we all are addicts here and we are here to help---we are addicted to nicotine (the most addictive substance in the world).

Don't worry about how many times you have failed in the past and don't worry about quitting forever. Only worry about quitting TODAY!

The way it works here is that you post roll with your quit group every morning. This is your promise to quit just for that DAY. You are with the November group.

Go to the welcome center and learn how to post roll. Great to have your here. I quit 118 days ago--this place works.

Never Quit anything in My Life

Hello,

My name is Joe and i have been using shit in the can for the last 35 years. Attempts have been made to quit in the past, but one excuse or another i was back to the habit.

This time started on the morning of August 19th with a tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy. Yes it hurts. I have held strong over the past 4 days, but it is screaming my name.

I could use any help you can give.
