Hi Bhaktan you can do this- just hang tough, ride out whatever comes. I started very young like you, and this site made it possible for me to quit for good. Learn all you can- read articles, others' intros, more HOF's etc. Get to know people by getting numbers- Thumble's one of the best quitters around so glad you are hooked up wiht him already. Don't be shy, people here like to help others quit. Keep tough, and you'll do it now--- finally! its so worth the discomfort once you are through it. Every minute is a victory.
This info helped me early on, and still does today: https://whyquit.com/whyquit/linksaaddiction.html

Quitters I’ve met so far: Ihatecope, >Pinched<, T-Cell, grizzlyhasclaws, Canvasback, BaseballPlayer, Cbird65, ERDVM, BradleyGuy, Ted, Zeno, AppleJack, Bronc, Knockout, MookieBlaylock, Rdad, 2mch2lv4, MN_Ben, Natro, Lippizaner, Amquash, ChristopherJ, GDubya, SRohde  -- always eager to meet more!

B-loMatt - I just finished reading a couple of the HoF speeches. Wow. Finally. There are real people who really get it.

Thumblewort - I don't. That's a cool concept!

Everything else aside: 239 Years old today. Happy Birthday Marines!

I came here for the Richard Marx reference...I stayed because you want to quit.

You've tried a ton of times. Well, you're done trying now bud. There are no tries here...just actions. We quit, or we don't quit. No excuses. You see, each and every one of us controls one thing in this world: our own actions. We are feathers in the wind with everything else. Luckily, feeding this addiction that we share falls under this umbrella. If you want to be quit...BE QUIT!

It's simple, but sometimes it is just not easy.

Post roll. Drink tons of water. Surround yourself with knowledge of quit and friends in quit. We got your back man.

You can do this.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021

It's gonna suck until it doesn't, hang on tight. Do you have phone numbers from fellow quitters yet? A text during a crave can be a life saver.

Bhaktan, read everything on KTC. Read EVERYTHING! All the knowledge you need to quit is here. Find your quit-group and post roll. Drink lots of water, get some exercise, and stay close to KTC. Learn how we quit, and then live it. The KTC plan works. 532 days of freedom for me today, and if I can be quit then you can too. PM me if you need anything.

It's just several hours later. It's driving me nuts. Time for some Yoga - that's worked for everything else. 'bang head'

I've dipped since I was about 12 so that makes about 32 years worth of this crap. I tried to quit before and only lasted a few days. Hopefully this site and the camaraderie here will make it a bit easier.

I know I need to quit and I have wanted to quit for a long time.

More and more frustrated by the minute. I've tried quitting many times in the past and nothing seems to work. 'bang head'
