"There's one correction to make from your intro - you never quit tobacco. You stopped using for an es=xtended period of time. We QUIT once, and never use again."

Not sure I understand that one because if that's true you won't know if you have really quit until your dead. So are you stopped right now? Do you tell people you have stopped chewing or quit? I can tell you from experience that nobody here knows if the will ever chew again. I don't care if you have 1 week without chew or 25 years without it. I thought I never would never dip again after 10 years of not chewing. You get complacent and let your guard down AND you only have to do it once. That's what happens. AND nobody here knows when or IF they will become complacent.

Thank You for the welcome

Welcome.

Yes, smokey mountain is OK to use. You can use anything as a substitute, so long as it doesn't contain nicotine.

Nice job posting roll. Now that you've posted roll, you've made a most sincere promise to the entire KTC community that you will not use nicotine for the rest of the day. Make the same promise early tomorrow morning, and every tomorrow morning after, and nicotine will be off the table again. It's not an option.

It's that simple.

You know how easily nicotine can come back into your life after you've stopped. So, my best words of advice are to keep posting roll for as long as this site exists. Make your promise, keep your promise every day. I've been quit 902 days, and I keep posting roll, and don't plan to stop. I view posting roll as a cheap insurance policy. All that is required is an internet connection, and about 45 seconds (once you get good at posting).

Quitting today
« on: July 11, 2018, 11:53:00 AM »
I quit Copenhagen for 10 years and then went to a football game with a friend that chewed. I decided to have just one chew. Today is about 3 1/2 years later and I am quitting today. I used a site called quitchew.org 13 years ago and it worked. I was like this site but I can't find it anymore. Anyway I don't want cancer. I have a wife and a ten year old buy. I don't want my jaw removed either. I am scared. That shit is so addicting. I have been trying to quit every week for over 2 years. I can't do it by myself. I have tried everything. I used smokey mountain to quit 13 years ago. Is it still ok to use that here? I have about 5 cans of it at home. Is it safe? Need help guys. Any advice is welcome. Today is quit day 1
