Mason,

I've combined all three of your Intros. Pull your head out.

It's not that hard bro. If you hate it, and I mean really really hate it, then it's not hard at all. I dipped for like 26 years, and I'm on day 23 and it's been simple. I know we're all different, but you just have to keep hating it. Get gum, seeds, toothpicks, straws for a sub. Get numbers of your quitters in your group. Hop into chat when urges are strong. Lots of tools at your disposal, you just have to use them. If you're just trying to be a lone wolf, then yes it's hard. So, don't do that. Use the tools. I know you're going to make it. I'll be looking for you in the HOF list. Don't disappoint!

Sorry to break the topic but this is his 3rd intro, can we get it shored up? I'd do it but don't think I can.

Mason, you are on Day 19, do you have numbers of October quit brothers to call or text? The tools are all right here. Also please just post in one intro thread, and don't make a new topic everyday.

The early stages of quit sure do suck... No getting around that, friend. Know these things and stay the course:

1. If you make the right choice each day, these sucky days never need to be repeated.
2. The days get better, real soon.
3.You will never know freedom if you give up now.
4.I give you my solemn promise these (very) few days of suckiness will be worth it. Scouts honor.

It won't be long before the nic-bitches clutches weaken. Before her screams of FFEED ME! fade into a distant whisper.

Stay the course, friend. You can do this.

Here is what helped me early on in my quit. First, read these stories:

20 Year Old Named Chance

Jenny and Tom's story

The story of Randy.....

The urge hits us all. Fight through. Do pushups till it eases then "take a knee and drink water!"

Here's what you do. It's simple. Just keep that shit out of your mouth.

Now, craves are coming and they are coming hard. Suck it up. Go to the fridge and get a big old bottle of ice cold suck it up.

Quitting is hard. There are many people here that will agree. They will also help you save your life. You can do this.

THe price for this help is posting roll. Make a promise to yourself and each one of us that you will not use nicotine in any form for 24 hours. That's all we deal with here....24 hours.

Start right now and take nicotine off the table. It just isn't an option. Do something else.

Let's go....

Mason,
Welcome read everything you can about your enemy to arm yourself when she comes to take her slave back. Go to the welcome center.

When you post roll here you give your word to yourself first that you will not chew for today only then to us. This is your word it has to be strong because you are going into battle with an addiction to a substance that has no rival when it comes to addicting agent nicotine.

The suck will come embrace it take what all of withdrawal has to offer and push through. The mental game is next that's when you need to start packing your tool bag with tools to defeat your opponent.

Need help PM me.

Welcome Masonruss. I'll check in Oct to see if roll looks goods.

It's not going to be an easy ride, don't let the easy morning fool you. That nic bitch is going to turn on the charm and try to seduce the hell out of you before you know it... Get prepared now. Get some seeds, gum, fake stuff, water, tea, phone numbers... register for the live chat. Hell, run to the gas station now and fill your tank. Gas stops during the first week can be deadly.

Keep your guard up, be prepared for the suck( I promise is coming), and reach out to us! Proud to be quit with you today....
