Today I am not going to take a dip. I'm not going to think about the rest of my days, just today. I tried this earlier this month and did it wrong. I didn't call people who gave me their number and I caved like a whimp. I'm going to do it different this time and would be interested to stay in touch daily with anyone who has experience or is just starting out. I want this more than anything and I'm going to do it!!
It takes getting fed up with the nic bitch and a made up mind to kick the whore out of your bed DAILY!! Stay strong Davis you can do this. nico

Thanks.  Played golf this morning.  I play in a skins game and a bunch of the guys chew. No one in my foursome dipped.  Ate some oranges and drank water.  I now have about 36 hours.  Last night I didn't sleep much at all but from what I've read that's expected.  It makes it easier knowing what to expect and not to get to down on myself for feeling like shit.
Sleep and night times are tough. Those first couple of days I went to sleep the minute I felt tired - even if it was 7:30. It gets better.

Stay close to this site. Keep reading. Learn about your addiction. Commit to posting roll first thing in the morning and then keep your word. Don't think about quiting for the rest of your life. Stay quit for today. Recommit tomorrow.

I was just where you were at 1 month ago. Those tough first couple of days are still fresh in my head. PM me if you need anything or if you just want to bitch about how shitty you feel.

Lochi21 - Day 38
Thanks. Last night was even worse for sleep. I'm used to dipping for a couple of hours before going to bed. I feel better though.
I used Nyquil and Tylenol PM to help me sleep during the first few weeks. Sleep will come back. Just focus on keeping that shit out of your face.

Nothing you will do today is more important than that.

Well, it's time to make a decision to quit dipping.  I've "tried" before but never have I said that I'm going to do it.  This site gives me hope because I see all of you other guys that have done it.  If you can do it, so can I.  I've already posted on roll call and I'll be posting tomorrow.  I am so sick of leaving my wife alone in bed so that I can go chew at night.  At the end of the night I hate myself for chewing and then I have trouble getting to sleep.  Over and over again.  I'm always tired.  Well, enough bitching.  Let's do this!!
Great for you brother. You already got my number and you made your promise to stay Nic free for the day. Post tomorrows promise first thing in the morning and then keep your word to us. We've all been through what you'll be going through and will help in any way we can. Stay strong and stay active out here. Read as much as you can and don't fucking cave. It's that simple.
Werd.

You have "tried". No more "try" for you. Fuckin "DO"

Welcome to the site. PM LOOT if you need anything. You won't see LOOT much...but LOOT aint never too far away cupcake.
And if you do find yourself at the crossroads down the road, read what you just wrote in your intro. Read it every morning and keep that attitude every day.
