Great news, Jacob!

You've been down this road once already - so you know that there are some rough patches ahead as you detox from the nicotine. Keep yourself hydrated, sip on some juice or hard candy during the day to keep your sugar levels even, get some exercise in, take some nice deep breaths, and just make it one day to the next. Sometimes one hour to the next. Just don't worry about tomorrow, you'll deal with it when it gets here. Just keep posting your days and making your promises and exchanging digits and getting to know people in your month and all those crusty old vets. It doesn't sound like something so easy could possibly work - but it does.

I recommend you read all you can on this site, from other introductions, to Hall of Fame speeches, to Words of Wisdom, and so on. Also, I found learning all about this addiction helped me stay quit. Once I could see it for what it was - an addiction that had screwed up the wiring in my brain - rather than some love affair I had with tobacco (which is just a lie that rewired brain of yours will try to tell you!) - it made it easier. Read some of these gems HERE - that should get you started.

You are very wise to be kicking the can to the curb so young. I wish I had. Do this. You will never regret it.

PM me if you need anything.

Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.

Thanks man. I'll do just that if I can figure it out. I'm not so great with computers and I'm on mobile so that makes it harder.
DonÂ’t worry about it. ThereÂ’s only one way to screw up roll and thatÂ’s not being on it! Welcome aboard and remember that this is an addiction not a habit. YouÂ’re not much better than the crack whore on the corner. Think about it , if dip was 50 a can eventually you would run out of money, then what would you do to get your fix? Damn proud to be quitting with you today
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Hey good on you for getting on here and quitting this addiction. I quit quite awhile ago the nic bitch is precistant gonna take more than month and half. Its why big tobacco stays in bissniss. You need to find your quit month its the month you hit 100 days quit on. Than post a promise not to use nicotine for that day. Its one day at a time. Go to community than groups than click 2018 find your month. Post early every morning so you know your good for the day cause you promised and who goes against there promises. I quit with you.

Introduction. Hour 2.5. I'm feeling good
« on: December 06, 2017, 02:44:00 PM »
I've dipped and smoked on and off since I was 16. I'm 22 now going on 23. I see guys around at work who have no teeth or missing teeth and I do not want to be one of them. Looking in the mirror everyday wondering why the fuck I've done this to myself. I've quit once during my entire addiction and it lasted a month and a half. It felt so good, I have no idea why I went back. Today at 1300 I swallowed a dip to make myself sick from it, to get myself going. I'm done with it but I need help and everything I've read on here has been good with other users helping and keeping up with each other. Thank you for reading this.
