Or perhaps it is that fact that some were rubbed the wrong way when you came on here and bullshitted us about quitting, huh?

Figure out what "quit" means. Then, spare us the comparison of your first "quit" to your second "quit." Like you said, we have enough drama on here. We are about posting roll and keeping our word. That's it.

Don't get me wrong, we also want you to participate in everything else on this site. But being quit is first and foremost...then come things like boobs and funnies...but only in addition to being quit.
Being around a bunch of pricks... Not a problem to show you what quitting really means. P.s. Your welcoming committee blows.
Does this mean we arent friends anymore? Oh and BTW, you didnt post roll today....

I didn't see any drama as I read your intro. While reading your initial intro your statements indicated your mind is not in where it needs to be to succeed. I read a a lot of addict speak and a some bad ass quitters trying to get your mind in the right place.

This is what is so great about this site. You will be told the truth about your addiction. We try and get your mind right, so that you never again for any reason put the filthy disgusting poison in your pie hole.

Question  Why did it take you so long to come back with a reply? I'm going to take a guess here,, could be wrong. My guess is your trying to quit on your own and discovering it's pretty tough. Why don't you stay a while,, make some friends. You would be surprised how much this site will help you. There is some great people here and there is one thing we all know how to do here. QUIT!!!!! Would love to see you post roll and join us. Need some digits let me know.
Sorry, I take a while to post because I am basically a work-aholic. I work 12 to 16 hours a day. When I get home, it's time with the kids and then usually work after I get them to bed. Honestly with the exception of the first 4 days, I haven't been tempted. I had half a can sitting on my sink for the first 5 days. Quitting was my choice. It wasn't a throw away the can and force myself to not dip. Now it's been tossed because I really don't need it anymore. I am very concerned about the weight gain. I am already over weight and had little success losing it and this certainly isn't helping. Oh well, I am trying not to gain too much and then refocus on that when I am in more control of not chewing go on to losing the weight.

Understandable.  Perhaps it is my easy demeanor that rubbed some the wrong way.  There seems to be a lot of drama on this site, understandable considering the purpose of the site.  Right now while not actually wanting a dip have been hooked on smokey mountain herbal snuff.  I really can't wait to wean myself off of that.  I am surprised that I am unable to concentrate or go into a fog around 4 but even that is becoming less intense and last shorter.  From experience I would say quitting the second time has been easier with the exception of the first 4 days which I swear was 10 times harder.  Honestly though, you seem like a good group of people.
Easy quitter!! Dont mistake being held accountable by a bunch of addicts that have seen hundreds of addicts come onto this site. 'finger point'

You have ONE QUIT and that is what should be most important. That is all you know and should be the focus of your full attention right now. WE have seen HUNDREDS of quits! Some good some Bad!! We know what a good one looks like and what a bad one looks like. Taking one word out of a pretty good intro is what we do! "TRY" was the culprit in your case. Try or Trying is addict speak for "I cannot wait to have an excuse to not quit!"

Didn't know 3 letters could mean so much did ya!

Quitting is a completly different mindset. You have a life change ahead of you if you truly want to be successful! I think there is a bad ass quitter in you! Learn from the thousands that have come before you!!

I quit with you today! See you tomorrow!!

^^^ Spot on.

Regarding the drama on KTC: take what you need and leave the rest. Whatever you do, keep close to this site: the minimum is to Post Roll every morning. Your quit will take off if you interact on your own intro and let us know what's going on with your quit. Why? Cuz it works.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Nuttie, don't worry about quitting the smokey mountain. If it is helping keep your mouth busy and away from the evil nicotine, then chew away. There may come a time where you try to get rid of it, but at day 9, I would just stay focused on the nicotine. Maybe try sunflower seeds, gum, candy, whatever, but really, I would save that worry until the craves go away a bit.
Glad you posted roll. Keep your word, and I will see you tomorrow at roll call.
Everyone can rub someone the wrong way on here because interpretation of the typed word does not portray or project tone like the spoken word does. As was indicated no one was directly judging you but wanted to know more.

Only you can make your quit stick. Everyone here reaches out in support. I am glad to see that your quit continues. Stick with it and reach out if you need a hand brother.

I really need to figure out how together updates from my posts.  First of all, thank you all for your opinions, they are valid if not off based.  Second, judge me all you want for there is only one person that is truly allowed to judge me, and no I don't see his post.  If you feel I am a waste of your time, so be it, your not the first to misjudge me and won't be the last.  I quit on October 6th. Through the flood I just went through, up all night pumping water out of my house, digging a new drainage ditch, yeah if that didn't break me I am not sure what will.  Life sucked for the first three days but I made it.
Nuttie. Understand this- Nobody is judging you. Folks just think that your attitude is not one which is likely to stay quit.
You must know we are right. You actually got to have your attitude, and see how it ended... you didn't stay quit.
The way I see it, that leaves you with 2 choices. Change your attitude to get in line with the one that will keep you quit, or keep the same one and end up caving again.

I hope you really dive in and spend some time on this site. You have the toughness to be a bad-ass quitter, but I think it is a little misdirected right now.
Nobody is judging you, just your desire to quit. Nobody knows you and we can only go off what you give us.
