Dear Shur79,

Get yourself in front of a mirror, alone. Get to fucking talking to yourself. You're the one who will suffer from all kinds of very painful cancers. This happens to everyone eventually.
Do you want to be that guy? The guy who is lying on his death bed saying, "man, I sure wished I had quit using nicotine back in 2012".
Don't be that guy, you're better than that! 'bang head'
Find a mirror, talk to the real you and tell the nic bitch 'Finger'

If you put 1/2 the energy of dipping into being quit, posting roll, keeping your word then you will be the man you really are.
Now, stop being a pussy and quit already! Don't think about those pussy patches or the geriatric gum, do it cold turkey with all the MEN here at KTC!
If I can, I know that YOU CAN kick the CAN!!!!! 'bang head'
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
It's poison I tell ya, You wouldn't drink Liquid Drano, would ya?

I see you joined this site way back on March 4. Had you not failed miserably, you'd be posting 228 days today.

How does that sound?

Don't let that happen to you again. Make it stick this time.

I am not real sure what to post, however I am joining the January Jackwagons and quitting chewing tobacco as of this evening.

I have chewed tobacco and at times nicotene gum for twelve years now, and I am sick of it.  I realize I am addicted, and that quitting will not be easy.  Nor do I take lightly committing to people that I am going to quit.

That being said I have attempted to quit once before on KTC, and failed miserably after 2-3 days.  I also just gave up a 30 day quit, by failing to follow the rule of avoiding alcohol for the first 50 days of ones quit.
So what do you want me to say? Come on you've failed twice here but I love wasting my time, let me help you!

So, what are you going to do differently? What are you going to do that will make me want to help you? And that is meant figuratively, what are you going to do that will make anyone want to help you?

Lets pull up those big boy pants and learn that this isn't easy but you aren't special either. Get some numbers, become involved and quit!
Yep, quitting sucks! I still don't see a roll post! If your serious spend every extra minute of the next 3 weeks online and drink the quit koolaid. Don't stray from your plan!

Hey Shur,

Welcome! Its always a good time to quit, regardless of the schedule. Im in day three, and it still sucks, but its one day at a time. Post often, let us know what you need. We are all going through the same thing. Hang in there!

Shur, welcome to KTC and congrats on your quit! A couple things to remember, your first 2 weeks are gonna suck, your first few days are gonna suck BAD. Prepare for the suck, embrace it becuase it will make you stronger. Post roll everyday and give your word early in the day that you will not use nic that day. You can do this and we can help.

PM me if you need anything

The time has come, no more nicotine for me. Things are scheduled to be hectic for the next few weeks.... so maybe not the best time, but there is never a good time so we will go with today for the first day that I quit using this crutch.
