Good to see the corn dog back. Love that mustard smile.

1 day at a time. Post roll every, and I mean every morning and focus on today. Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. You know how this place works, be a leader in September

Wamb,

You caved, you messed up. Again.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off. If you have a drinking problem, go get help, join a 12 step. You know what a big part of a 12 step is? ACCOUNTABILITY! Make the decision to be Quit for good, and go over to July and post an explanation for your cave, then post day 1....your life depends on it.

Every day you're quit is a GREAT day, for you and for anybody that cares about you.

Keep quit, wamb, you're doing great.

DAY 2 of QUIT. Being totally lazy and just watching TV in a stress free environment. Gonna go to best buy and look at a new camera.

Know that Monday at work is going to be stressful. Trying to keep that worry out of my head and just focus on today.
Monday will be stressful, but that doesn't equal a cave. Only you can decide to cave, so decide right now that caving isn't an option. Since you recognize work as a trigger to be on the lookout for, come up with a plan now to divert your attention when a crave presents itself. Use seeds, go for a walk or whatever you need to do. There is no excuse to put that shit in your mouth again.

I was working 4 days of really long shifts for my first few days of quitting. It did suck, but I talked to everyone around me and they were really helpful. Just stay busy when you go in tomorrow and try to anticipate any triggers you may have. I had a few and I took some non smoking breaks. Went outside did like a 5 min walk and had some water and mints. It gets easier but best thing I can tell you is anticipate and plan for triggers and come up with coping mechanisms now. Congrats bud, you are well on your way dont forget if you cheat you will be starting back at day one. Fuck that!!!!!!!

D-DAY. committing to the program and posting roll now. Gonna be a rough next 100.

Posted roll. My body is already starting to panic knowing that I am going to starve it off nicotine. :handsshaking:
Just so we are clear. 100 days is only a milestone, it is certainly not the end. I would argue that its just the beginning.

Just worry about today, tomorrow will take care of itself.

Posting here is a good place. You can post in your quit group, too.

Later on, you'll feel so much better that the memory of this suck will no longer be sharp. Revisit this post, to remind yourself of what hell nicotine put you through, to refresh your gratitude that you never have to go through this again.

I need a waambalance,

This was from another quitters intro page but EASY ON THE COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Some things that will help you tremendously

Read- The Tom and Jenny Kern Story- follow the link to the caring bridge site and read Jenny's journal, read the posts by Toms kids to a Dad that has been dead for 5 years. How they still miss him. Think hard about what this addiction of yours can inflict on your family. Then move on to the rest of the stories on here until you find something that you can hold onto.

Walk- when your craving or feel like your going to smash the bosses head in with a stapler take a walk. around the block or around the building doesn't matter. IF you have to do it 100 times a day for the first few days do it. The excercise will reduce the number of cravings dramatically and removing yourself from the source of the aggravation will help as well. If you can work out as wel all the better. I can't stress how much excercise can help you .

Blood sugar- keep it stable, sip on fruit juice during the day, dip has alot of sugar in it. If you have a sugar crash your going to crave. Keeping your blood sugar levels up with cranberry or pineapple juice will help you tremendously.

Caffiene- cut WAY back- nicotine makes it so you can handle more caffiene. Go easy. If your a pot a day guy it is going to hit you ALOT HARDER try cutting back for the next few days it'll help.

Sleep- maybe a little off for a few days- tylenol pm works wonders.

Post up- If you get in trouble go to chat and let em know your struggling. No shame in it, they have ALL been right where you are. You can post up here in your intro any thoughts or better yet post it in your group. Those guys are going thru the same thing as you right now.

Last- keep in mind that you have made a choice to leave that crap in the past. It was never your friend and you'll learn that soon enough. Your a junkie, like a heroin addict or a coke fiend. Your choice of drug just happens to be nicotine. The little addict in you will have a thousand reasons why you can have a dip, they are ALL lies. Chew isn't good for anything but keeping you addicted to chew.

You can do this, sing out when you need help were here and we get it.

This is heavy. Intense bursts of physical cravings. I don' think I can eat lunch today. Been drinking a ton of coffee. Don't know if that is good or bad really.

Am I supposed to post in here or somewhere else.

Your body has wanted to be free of the poison all along. Now your body is going to give you the cussing out you so richly deserve.
Right Nine, cussing, beating ..... just a good ol' fashioned butt-kicking ........ it will suck. It is supposed to. Remember how bad it is. You only have to go through it once. Fight like your life depends on it, it does. Thanks for being here!
