Welcome.

I see you were here briefly last November. What's going to be different this time? Hopefully you go to your September Quit Group and post roll. Posting roll is a solemn promise to yourself, members of your quit group, supporters of your quit group, and the entire KTC community that you will not use nicotine in any form for the rest of the day. Once you make that promise, if you are a man of your word, nicotine use is off the table for the rest of the day. Wake up tomorrow, and make that promise again. Wake Up, Piss, Post (WUPP).

Check into the site as often as your schedule allows, at least for a while. Read a lot here. Read these intros, read the HoF speeches, read the main KTC site. That will help you educate yourself, and keep your mind off caving.

I'm new to the quit groups/forums, etc. I've been able to "quit" previously, but never stay quit. 1 can a day Cope fine for 30+years.

Quit date is 4/8/18.

I took my last dip on 10/31/17 and have had some support locally here in Austin with another buddy that quit dipping. I got sober from drugs and alcohol on 4/25/16 and knew in my heart that nicotine/snuff was just as big of a problem in regards to addiction as the booze and drugs were. I was a servant to the can and just could not/would not stop. Want to join the team on here and get support and offer support.

Thanks,
JAYDOM
JAY,

21 days on your own is pretty wicked awesome! My recommendation to you is to read up on the background of this site if you haven't already. Why we do what we do (post roll and your promise EDD). You'd be in the February 2018 Hall of Fame (HOF) group, which is assembling quite nicely.

Quit with you today.
