I found this site 3 days into my quit when I couldn't sleep!  Live Chat, the guys told me to sign up and do roll call.... 

....I'm not one to chat to much on the internet.  Roll Call is just to much for me to commit to.....

Welcome back Trexxxrode! I was one of the people in chat telling you to post roll call like it's YOUR JOB! Tough to commit to it? I'm guessing you can find the 30 seconds that it takes. I understand not having the interest/time to spend it in chat, but roll call is the most important thing you should be doing right now. Day 2 was not bad caught myself reaching for a can of dip at my computer. That was funny TOTAL Habit!!! Thought about the fake stuff, that sucks tried it.

Day 3 must have bit my cheeks over 30 times!!! Talking or Eating

Day 4 bottom half of my cheeks feel better, jaw alittle stiff.

All 4 of my days I have felt bloated, constipated, like an elephant sitting right below my lungs pressing to my groin.

Mental side has not been to bad. I do wig out about every 2 hours but I'm dealing with it. The physical side is really hard, it makes me wonder.

What the fuck have I been doing!!!

Hope you find some fake shit within a 100 mile radius of home. I had that trouble also. I've been using the fake stuff this last week. Don't get your hopes up to high on it satisfying to much. It does do something for oral fixation, but I have'nt found any with much flavor. It does help but its like taking a dip out of the hopper of a street cleaner, ya really just don't know whats in there!

I'm not usually a Wal-Mart shopper, but they opened a new one near me a month or so ago, so I decided to go in there last night to buy a couple of DVD's. I know they usually stock Smokey Mountain, in fact about a month ago I bought a tin there on a day we were canning for Pop Warner.

I'm also not a big fan of it, usually found it very unsatisfying and that in turn usually lead me back to the real stuff. So thus far I have stayed away from it, even throwin' out that tin a month ago.

BUT, I've been jonesin a little bit lately so I figured lemme pick up another tin and give it a try. One of the reasons I decided to go Wal-Mart as opposed to Target or something...

Low and behold, like you guys are saying NOTHING! Not a fuckin fake tin in sight. Nobody else 'round here stocks it either.

You gotta go mail order I guess.

Anyway, I've said this before, I don't recommend it. I know alot of guys use it, and I said I was even contemplating buying some last night, but it always was bad for my quit.

FUCK!!! today was tough....out on the lake all day and no dip (not many fucking fish either which made it even worse!) I was close a flew times to calling it but resisted......

Ok so i have decided to try out the fake dip stuff.........problem being i cant find it ANYWHERE in TN. Hell i went to 6 different tabacco, walgreen, walmart, mapco....you name it i went and no one had anything. I remember seeing the stuff when i was still dipping but now that i want some i can freaking find it! Anyone know where to get some that is not online?

ok a funny story to end my night. I decided to go grocery shopping for the wife today just to give me something to do. So i head out to the store with my list and get started, now the 3rd day with no dip FOG is rolling in bad at the moment. I spend damn near 2 hours in that grocery store and when i got home my wife asked if i got everything on the list.....I said "to be honest i have NO IDEA what i got" hahaha i spent 2 hours at the damn store and could not remember what in the hell i even bought...


(had a few beers now so cant promise all this makes sense lol)

I had a similar experience; I went to what seemed like every cigar shop and quickie-mart in the county and got blank looks when I asked for herbal snuff. A few of the clerks tried pointing me to the fruit flavored skoal. I ended up asking the owner of the quickie mart where I used to buy my chew to order some. His distributor had it in stock and he had it on the shelf in a couple of days.

Day 2 and the fog is starting to roll in, i just had a 10min conversation with my boss to which at the end of it he replied "WTF are you even talking about" hahah

the good part is i am so damn sore from working out that dipping is not even top priority at the moment the intense pain in my chest and arms are trumping it

Day 2 of my quit I was sitting at home when my boss called with a fairly urgent emergency. I had to explain a procedure over the phone to him and another employee. When I got done, it was quiet for approximately 3 seconds before my boss said "huh, that didnt even make sense".

I can beat that.

Day 2 of my quit, I was lying on my bathroom floor puking, with a fever.

Dip sick, I'm sure of it.
