"I do think I have already eaten 800 extra calories today though 'bang head'. O well a few pounds is better than the big "C"" ...Weight gain in the first month is very common. I put on 30# in 30 days. Eating is a good coping method of the oral fixation issues. Use everything to fill that void so long as it doesn't contain nicotine. For me, seeds, gum, candy, toothpicks, jerky, Atomic Fire Balls, moistened green teabags, and even "fake dip" all helped throughout everyday. Worry about the weight gain later.
