Just a fair warning about Lubbock Steve (besides it flat, dusty and ugly).

I think it has more dippers per capita than any place on earth.

My Nephew and Niece go Tech so we catch some football games with them and the amount of dippers freak me out.

At the Baylor/Tech game last week, I counted 9 kids dipping in the roll in front of me and that was without even turning my head.

Congrats on HOF!!!!!!!!
Oh little worm-dirt...you are so scary...F' OFF...!!!

The train is headed out west again today to pick up our newest Sky Diver to reach the HOF, SteveB!

Steve is a married quitter that lives in Southern California with his wife and two daughters. He has used smokeless tobacco since he was 15, Skoal mint and mint bandits were his poison of choice. Steve works as a warehouse manager and is getting ready to make a big move to Lubbock, Texas! He plans to sign for 200 days saying that he can't imagine moving to Texas without KTC on his side. We like that plan brother! Steve plans to celebrate his entrance to the HOF by ordering himself a HOF coin. He mentioned Gorilla as an inspiration and his words of wisdom for everyone were to use anything at your disposal to stay quit early on, fake stuff, doctor's Rx just no tobacco! He also shared this short experience from early on in his quit;
"At the beginning when I was in the fog and pissed off I told coping without Copenhagen to shove KTC where the sun doesn't shine and he replied you can shove what ever you want just post roll everyday.
That's when I figured out the magic of this website people just want to help each other even though I was a total jerk to him he just wanted me to post roll because he knew that was the secret to staying clean."

Congratulations Steve on reaching 100 days!

Day 4 if I'm seeing things right.

Here's what you need to do. Might take the edge off. Jump on the first flight out to Alaska when your able. Take some climbing gear with you. There are some of the highest Peaks in the world there. Find the highest one you can. Climb it brother. Might need to take some oxygen with you, the air may be a little thin.

When you get to the top take a good look nicotine free. For years you have been observing the world with nicotine blurring your vision and desensitizing your emotions. Welcome to freedom. Smell it, taste it and feel it.

Now if Alaska is a little to far and hard then just step out your front door. Same thing. Glad to be quit with you.
I just woke up to Day 4 and I feel a lot better than I did yesterday.
Day 3 was the worst and I don't ever want to feel like that again.
You are right though bro I just woke up with the urge to workout so exercise is on my list for the first time in a long time.
I haven't lifted since I stopped playing football in college and I'm curious to see what I can bench and squat.
Overall I'm proud to be on Day 4

Little victory tonight I was scared going but I went to a baseball game with guys from work and I'm still going strong no dip what so ever.
I just made sure to stay sober so I didn't get all crazy and do stuff I would regret.
I tried to read how to post roll from a link but the link didn't work.
I did click on my November group though and check it out. I'm clean and I have no worries about posting roll.
The only victory worth a damn around here is you putting your name, promise and number of days quit in Nov. '13 every fucking day, no matter what. Everything else is secondary and barely relevant. Follow the links... copy, cut and paste your way to freedom.
I dis agree with your post almost entirely and your post pisses me off and makes me want to shove this site up your ass.
Once some gave me link on how to do it I posted roll immediately other wise I would have had to wait until I got to work to watch the video that I cannot get to load. I was never trying to avoid posting roll no one said copy and paste the fucking list. I tried to click the link but the video wouldn't load.

You can do things you are proud of and call them victories if you post roll or not.
Hey Steve, feel free to shove whatever you'd like where ever you'd like, except gerbils. They seem to be off limits. The important thing is you posted roll. It's a sacred promise and it wasn't there when I made this comment. You have to understand, there're a bunch of folks that drive by, take a peakyboo and don't have the nads to step up and make a promise. That, to me is pretty frustrating because the freedom and peace I've found here is here for the taking. But nothing happens if you don't make that promise every day... That's it, wanna be quit? Post your promise every day. I also sent you a personal message earlier with my number in case you needed me to talk you through. Feel free to shout out if there's anything you need.

I'm sorry Cope. I don't know if day 3 is fight day or what but I just want to smash stuff.
Generally I would never say shit like that and I would never even be upset at what you said but I woke up agitated saw your post and was seriously angry for the bulk of the day today. You probably can't tell now but I'm not an angry person.
I think day 3 has been the hardest so far by a long shot. I'm the most moody and have a bad headache all day plus dizzy / light headedness off and on.
No worries brother! We've all been right there in the middle of the suck. Use this place as a sound board, get it off your chest and buffer the family. After three days the nicotine is out of your body but your brain hasn't quite caught up to the program. You got this, quitting means never having to say you're sorry. :P Congrats and Welcome!
Welcome brother. If you ever get tired of cursing at cope I'm also available. Like cope said brother, bring it here. We can take it.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Great job on facing a trigger head on. In regard to coping's post: don't sweat it and put on your thick skin. There are only two "rules" here:

Post roll every day.
Don't use nicotine in any form.

In any event, it takes a while to get a hang of the KTC forum. You will get the hang of it quickly. Just keep beating the nic bitch into the ground every damn day.

I'm glad you're here!

Welcome home Steve. Come post roll with us in November 13. Quit together, not apart. We are stronger that way. Ill be sending my number along to you so feel free to use it anytime. Link up with some dudes on this site and start getting to know people and letting them get to know you. When we become real to one another it is much more difficult to lie or turn your back on a brother. And the lies WILL come: just ONE more, I can handle it this time, I'm not really an addict, etc. I you've ever tried to quit before you know the deal. That shit is cunning and deceptive though and I can't tell you the number of times I've fell into believing the bullshit again. Never again! I got my squad here at KTC and am staying honest and open with them. Turns out there are some really cool people here. It sucks for a few days in the beginning but after that its a hell of a lot of fun. Take your life back and do something truly amazing!

Peace
