What you are feeling is also perfectly normal. Quitting is hard, messy work. It will get better with time. Remember, you've changed how your brain looks at the world, and you are now depriving it of the chemical that changed your worldview. It's going to be pissed off for a bit.

Drink lots of water, come to the Quit Groups (December is your month as stated above) and get involved. It will help more than you can imagine...

Hey Nicholas! 'welcome'

I know what you are talking about and matter of fact, most people on this site can say the same. Day 5 is an awesome accomplishment! my worst day was day 4, I felt like a completely different person, but I continued to fight and this morning I posted day 191.

Drink lots of water, lots and lots of water. Try out something to get your mind off of the cravings; hard candies or maybe some sunflower seeds?

Alright, first step is done, you came to the website and posted and introduction 'chew2' . Now you need to get set up and join a quit group. Here is the URL for your quit group CLICK ME, DECEMBER 2017 GROUP. post an introduction in here and then post roll for today which would look like "NicholasCL Day 5 I quit today"Here is a link on how to post roll POSTING ROLL VIDEO URL

Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help with navigation of the website or just need someone to talk to.

Day 5 quit
« on: September 20, 2017, 06:46:00 PM »
I'm 5 days in and things have gone from bad to worse. I was expecting the first few days to be rough and it was but now into day 5 and I'm either completely depressed or so full of rage and hate I may explode. Time seems to have slowed down on me also. This is horrible.
