It's normal max. Welcome, I just began the journey myself. The Fog is starting to lift. I still feel stupid/silly in the head. Throw in some herbal/non nicotine chew and keep walkin. I quit with you today.

Just put one foot in front of the other and keep pushing forward. Reply on the people here to help you move forward when it feels impossible.

Been dipping for about 4+ years now. Consistently dipping a can a day for about 3 of those years. I decided to quit when I got up this morning. I feel like it is causing me to be very spacey and in a fog. Is this possible for day 1? Is it too soon for that?
Not too soon at all as your mind is going crazy trying to figure out where its fix is. You should head over to September 16 and get on roll!
Welcome! You made a great decision and you should be proud of making it after 4 years. As you'll see, for many guys on this site, that 4 years turned into 40 in the blink of an eye.

At times over the next few weeks, you will be absolutely miserable. You'll want nothing more than to buy a can and stop the discomfort. I promise you, if you stick it out, freedom from nicotine will feel so much better than any drug high you've ever had with it.

It's hard, but you can break free. Start posting roll at the link Dwerick provided. This is your daily promise not to use nicotine. You post your promise first thing every morning, keep your word for 24 hours and then do it again. It's part of your daily routine now. But also get involved with your group. You'll learn a lot and will help build up defenses against cravings.

Welcome and I wish you the best! Reach out if I can help.
Day 1 starts now if you dump all the shit and post roll.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.
