Hey just a little heads up here at KILL THE CAN we do we dont try.
For a while this is going to be a fight between your addicted brain vs your willpower. Your addicted physical self is going to try to convince you to have 'just one'. Eliminating the words like "attempt" and "try" will help you beat back cravings when they come, which they will.

30 years of a can per day habit was finally interrupted on 01/19/2013. Was in Texas on my final hunting trip of the season and planned on trying when returning home. Tossed out 3.5 cans on the way home. I would have never guessed the physical effects of quitting over the last 5 days, but I damn sure up to the challenge. This weekend will be the first without chew....will be a hell of a challenge. I damn sure have this shit covered!

;Ironman:
Great decision to quit! The KTC way works, but you need to work your quit. Saw that you posted roll which is awesome; now just keep your word. Read everything on KTC. There is so much knowledge here, and knowledge is power. Just worry about today, and quit minute by minute if you have to, but know that there are better days ahead and it does get easier. Get some contacts and reach out if you need to. PM me if you want my # or need anything.
Glad you found us. Stick with these guys and post roll each day. Shout if you need personal assistance.

Del, welcome to the April 2014 quit group. As you've seen when you posted roll, we call ourselves the Resolute Bastards and really hold ourselves and each other accountable for staying quit one day at a time. You are off to the right start by posting roll and if you do that daily, at a minimum, it will help you stay quit.

Read the information here and pick some Introduction threads to follow and comment on and you're moving along.

Again, welcome and PM me if you would like to swap numbers for text support.
