Also, five fucking cans a day???? Bullshit. Unless you were opening up a can and putting it in a fucking smoothie, you are not possibly going through five cans a day. Seriously.
Yeah, no shit. No fukn way
Pack a lip, 1 min later toss and repack repeat? Massive embellishment, just be honest bro.

Can count does not make you more bad ass or your quit any harder. If it you did in fact burn through that much shit you still ingested no more poison than the others....

"I think I can". This for little kiddie trains! Get serious, get support here and get quit!

Welp.

Another one and done?

The title of this intro says it all.
Yepper. That is exactly what I thought when I first read that title. If I had been in a nic rage when I read this I would have completely gone off on this guy. What a waste of space on this site.

Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

I've been addicted for 39 years to this stuff. Last few years I've been going through 5 cans a day. I've wanted to quit for awhile now but keep making excuses. I made the choice today to quit once and for all! I like what I've read on this site and think I can do it this time.
I'm just gonna get it outa the way right now...

Holy. Shit.

5 cans a day.

This is your new home, dude. Learn what Quit groups are... learn what posting roll is... learn how to do it... do it every day... get involved... stay involved.

That's how it works. Buy in and own it, bro.
Own it.
Take your life back from nicotine. Like Zam said... you've been a slave to it for so long you don't know what life really is. Let me tell ya... freedom is so damn cool.

C'mon... jump all in.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

How bad do you want this?

Are you willing to give us your word, that you will be quit?
Are you willing to let us hold you to that standard?
Are you willing to do the same?

This is what we do daily. There is no try, think or hope. Each day, we just quit. Good, bad or ugly we are here, quitting we each other.
^^^^what he said. Read this^^^. Then read it again. And again tomorrow. This is what you need to win here.
Break it down and think about what it means. My 2 cents: Willing to do is more than willing to decide. If deciding was all the doing required to quit, KTC would be a knitting site. Willing to do means doing, not being done. So I'd recommend you do a lot here. Read words of wisdom. Read HOF speeches. Get involved. Encourage someone. Curse like a sailor just because. Take your nic-rage out on some caver. Take your nic-Rage out on someone who is nic-raging. But keep doing something.
We've been EXACTLY in your shoes. There is literally nothing that we (collectively) don't know about what you are and will go through to stay quit. Do take advantage of that experience. Do more than just throw your name on a list.
Quit is worth it. After 39 years, you don't know what life is like without nicotine. You have no idea, really. But you will start to see it. It is worth it.
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.

HELLO GUS!!

I'm so glad you made it here from Facebook to the intro section on KTC!!! You took the first step! Like "FLipout" said, the main part of the program that will keep you successful here at KTC is joining your quit group in October and posting roll in your group! exchange digits with the guys in your group who you will get to know an form a bond with throughout your quit! They will be your main support system along with pretty much everyone on the site when you are going through some really rough times, mainly the first few weeks of your quit! It's going to be hell, but your life will be worse hell if you keep using and being a slave to nicotine! There are some really good videos about how to post roll on the site! It can be confusing at first but there are several Vets like "Candoit" (Eric) who will walk you through posting roll over the phone if needed. :) Glad you are here!!! KTC'S main motto you will hear A LOT will be WAKE UP, PISS, POST EVERY DAMN DAY (WUPPEDD) lol Now go post your day 1 in your new Quit group October 2017!!! Proud to quit with you today Gus! :) :) :) :) Here is the video on how to post roll call! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBoCAiiDNyg

Welcome to KTC, oldboat! If you want to beat this addiction once and for all, you have come to the right place. The first step is to go to the quit groups, find October 2017, and post your name, day count and your promise to your fellow October quitters that you will not use nicotine in any form for that day. Then keep that promise. Tomorrow, do it again. We call it posting roll and it is the cornerstone of KTC.

This place is full of folks who have been addicted to nic as long or longer than you (ask me how I know!). So don't believe for a moment that you can't do this. You can!

If you need anything, please pm me.

There are no circumstances in which using nicotine will improve the outcome.

My journey. The best part it is not over yet.
