Glad to see you've made your way onto roll. Do it every day. Do it first thing in your morning routine. That way, nicotine isn't an option for that entire day.

Come in here and blow off steam if you need to rage. Get involved in your group and in the various discussions that take place around here; it'll keep your mind off of things.

Get seeds, gum, fake, whatever you need to keep your mouth occupied and keep you from going back on your word.

Welcome! You've certainly come to the right spot. The folks here will help drag you through the tough stuff over the next few days, weeks, months and beyond.

The only requirement is that you show up  make your promise everyday and then keep that promise.

You will benefit greatly by tapping in to the network on this site and exchanging numbers with your wit group and others. Many also find a lot of value in keeping this Intro thread going as a sort of log. Write down what you're going through, struggles and success, and you will love to come back and read through it every now and then. These threads help others too.

Welcome again, and reach out of you need anything.

November 2016 Quit Group

Head on over that thread and start posting a daily promise to quit nicotine for the day. Quitting here works by a simple principle: promise to quit for 24 hours, keep your promise, and repeat. Your reasons look good to me - always quit for yourself first. Quitting to please someone else won't work out too well. There will be some rough days ahead - but you know this because of your previous attempts to stop. What's different this time is that you are quitting with a team. And the best team because we have all been where you are right now.

Hi fellow quitters. This is my first roll call, I took tobacco out of my mouth for the last time last night 2 seconds before midnight. About me:
-Chewed for 6-7 yrs
