Well I made it to day 29, still alive and nicotine free. I feel more alive and happier now after quitting, only wish I had done this earlier in life. Cant do much about that now except enjoy the new life B)B
I wont lie and say I don't have cravings from time to time but I wont give in. I've made it this far I refuse to go back to the nic bitch!!
I love seeing new quitters catch their first glimpse of how awesome life is free of nicotine slavery! Keep going, it gets a lot better. Well done!
JR it gets better and better! Keep the quit strong! The craves get easier. The mind gets clearer. Food taste better. Your wife or girlfriend will actually kiss you again! Life's great, always remember that no matter how bad the craves! Damn proud to be quit with you today!
What these guys said Jreiss. every few dys I discover something better and more wholesome in my life due to being nicotine free. Just last night I was locking up the house before bed and it hit me that not too long ago I would already be planning either my last dip of the night or tomorrow morning. What a waste of time and effort!
Quit with you EDD! CJ

Well its day 19. I have notice that my temper is a little short these days. Life still not playing so nice , but have not given into temptation. I wish there was an "easy" button to push lol. Today I was so tempted to buy a can but refuse to give in, I will beat this even if it kills me. I can only chew so much gum and exercise so much to help get my mind off of this. I know I will get through this, I have made it this far and will continue on.
You're on your way to a much better and freer life. Keep pushing through. It gets easier and it's worth it, I Promise You!
Remember quitting want kill you but continue dip could! Quit on brother! Rage on we will listen, laugh ,cry ,whatever it takes to stay quit! Damn proud to be quit with you today my brother!

Day 17. Life can be a real bitch sometimes, If it wasn't for this site and all the support I don't think I would be successful at my quit. Life keeps throwing me curve balls which would make it so easy to go back to chewing, but I am staying strong and will overcome this BS.
I've never been more proud to be called a quitter, I have made it this far and will keep going forward. ODAAT
Nice post. You have the right attitude. Way to be.
Keep up that quit JR. The Nic Bitch is always lurking, just waiting for you to have a bad day so she can coax you into taking her back. She's especially convincing in your weakest moments. Just take it one day at a time and get on this site to read or vent until she goes away. It will get easier!
Quit on brother! You can defeat this! Just got to remember you are in control and the nic bitch is very powerful, don't give her an inch. Balls to the wall my friend! Come in here and face , bitch, scream or yell it helps and we listen! Proud to be quit with you today my friend!

Well I made it 14 days, 2 weeks down and counting. I am thankful everyday for being nicotine free and will stay that way. The one big thing that would be nice is if the cravings would go away, but I know all in time. But for know sugar free gum and lots of exercise will have to help with the cravings. Everyday gets better. Thank you all for the support.
Well Done! two weeks under your belt and freedom entering your life. The nic bitch will keep calling but you have all the tools you need to fight back. Exercise, water, and your promise are strong medicine. And of course you always have your friends here only a text or call away.

Quit with you EDD.

I made it to day 11.
I ran into a friend yesterday and told her I quit chewing and she told me I looked happier and full of life. She made my day, it was so nice to hear something like that as an extra boost to stay nicotine free and boost confidence. I am thankful for friends, both on here and the ones around me as well as this site. It has been a huge help in my quit.
Don't get me wrong, I still have cravings for a dip, but I promise not to give in to these urges. Besides my daughter said she would kick my ass if I did. :)
It only gets better! Proud of you and proud to be quit with you today!
That's great to hear Jreiss! Freedom shines brightly. One day at a time. EDD.
