There's two ways to come back. You can own the hell out of a real quit by smashing each and every day or you can half-ass it like FMBM did and end up caving again in a pit of nicotine fueled depression. You know how to stop. Now it's time to Quit. Every one of the last 504 days, I've thought of the shame I brought to the Titans and indeed YOU, who reached out and honored me with being a HOF Conductor. I post support with the Titans not because they need it, but because it is a reminder of what I did. The nic bitch has a curious way of healing negative thoughts with time. If you let it happen, you could drift and almost forget what happened. Fuck that. Eat it, own it and kick some ass.

700+ days pissed away because he didn't own it.

Really. Own. It.

I'm so sick of reading this shit and the ball coddling that accompanies it.

Pathetic...
Yeah its a crying shame really. I was shocked to see how well your group took it medic. When I caved in 2014 and came back in 15, LORD did I get my ass ripped. And rightfully so. I deserved every last minute of it.

Hope you take all the pats on the ass and run with it. You had over 700 days and have the tools to do it again. I wish you nothing but the best man. Lets kick this fucking nic bitch one day at a time!
If I could I would. If I don't, it's because I am lazy.

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the Ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

As new as I am, coming on this site has helped me tremendously. It hasn't been the easiest transition in my life. One night I actually couldn't sleep so I looked at photographs of lip and mouth cancer for 5 hours. Anything works, talking has been very beneficial to me too. I'll slide you my number through a PM, I'm glad to quit with you today. More the merrier.

Got to stay with the middle finger attitude.
you are welcome to exchange # here as well. You can do this.
Welcome John.
Great decision. I get the sense that you are quitting because of the sore throat and lip. Medical fear is a good catalyst for a quit but it can't be the fuel. You have to fuel it with a deep want on your part. Otherwise, your quit will sputter and flame out. To successfully change your addictive behavior, you have to want a better life for you. You have to be willing to live with this addiction.
Cancer fear, spouse, children are all good reasons to quit. They just won't keep you quit. It is proven that your quit has to be for you. It's okay to be selfish here.
Read all you can because knowledge about your enemy, the nic whore, is your most effective quit weapon.
Quit with you today.

Here it goes...my introduction. My name is John, and I have been a Skoal Long Cut and Red Man user for about 14 years now. I decided to finally give quitting a SERIOUS go when I woke up yesterday morning, with an annoyingly sore throat and my bottom lip hurting a bit. "It's time", I thought to myself. But where I've failed in the past, I will succeed this time, because I have sought support, rather than trying to go it alone.
I am 36 years old, married, with a 2 year old daughter, and I want to be around for them as long as possible. I am a paramedic for one of the biggest EMS systems in the country, in one of the busiest areas of the country, and I am extremely proud of that. I love what I do, and I also would like to do THAT as long as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing, playing music, mainly drums, playing poker, running, playing and watching basically any sports, and most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my family. So here I sit at my computer, typing my intro, on Day 2 of my quit.
Welcome Medic. Glad to have you. Pull up a chair and get comfy. You can do this bro.
Exactly but... Don't give it serious go. Don't "try".

Go all in.

All. In.

If you own this you'll win and experience a freedom that words just don't do justice.

Don't try... Do.
Welcome aboard. You can do this. Stay focused one day at a time. Quit with you today.
