Well here goes. I started smoking when I joined the navy 12 years ago. Switched to dip when I got to the sub. it was always accessible, where as smokers were only allowed to have 3 people at a time going. Ten and a half years later and I'm chain dipping Copenhagen and skoal snus at 2 to 3 cans a day combined.

Tried quitting several times throughout the years, never stuck.

Well it hit home when my 3 year old stuffed his lip with raisins to "be like daddy". That is not what I want to be teaching my kids.

I threw every last bit of it away and have been nicotine free since 1/20/2016.
I saw your posting up. Good job. Keep that up! One day at a time!

Congrats on your decision. The site is real helpful. The accountability of roll call is also a big help. Good luck. I quit with you
