Beyond posting roll (which is absolutely mandatory), get numbers, establish connections to other brothers here and reach out if you have a craving. Remember you have to ask for permission if you think about using... No one will ever let you. Believe me, I have helped others off the ledge and in turn they have helped me as well in my weaker moments.

Quitting is like that joke about how to eat an elephant...one bite at a time. I used to get overwhelmed by the thought of "quitting forever." I didn't believe I could do it. I didn't believe in myself. I didn't believe in the power of posting roll.
Then I clicked around in a few quit groups...not just my own, but a few other months/years. The thought occurred to me that every name there was an addict who was (or had been) right where I was. They dealt with the shit, and showed back up to do it again. There are no short-cuts or tricks. There is only quit or excuses. Every bad-ass on this site is choosing quit each day. YOU CAN TOO!!!
