Well, I do want to quit, I just don't want to have to go through the hell that's required. I want instant gratification!!
Being I'm still upset about Klye'sASupperDoucheThatCantQuit.....I thought I'd come back and read through his beleaguered intro.

That's when I found this little gem above.

Attention Prospective/Brand New Quitters:

Quitting is fucking hard.

One more time in case it did not sink in that time around....

Quitting is a ball breaking hard as fuck fight.

If you are not willing to fight to gain your freedom then don't bother putting your name on a roll here at KTC. If you are not willing to work hard to give yourself a better life then don't quit. Keep right on living in whatever happy sense of denial you have established.

Laying down the can is probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life. Without question it was worth every second of original fight.

Not being a slave to a can...an amazing thing. Not constantly scraping away dead skin...an amazing thing. Not constantly worrying I have mouth cancer...an amazing thing. Setting a better example for my children...an amazing thing.

If quitting was easy then tobacco companies would be broke.

There is no instant gratification. There is no magic bullet. No way to do it pain free. No way to make it suck any less.

However, I will let everyone in on a little secret that really worked for me.

I quit by making a daily promise to not put that shit in my mouth. That has worked for me for 830 days.

Who's ready to fight???
I am in...
I fucking love that fight. Fuck. Steel balled fucker is what I am.

Put my name down...

It appears to me you are not ready for this site. We do not have a "cave every three days is OK philosophy" here. We expect you to man up and quit. This site is for serious quitters willing to live up to their word. This is not the place to be coddled along, you would need to head over to the light site for that.

If you really want to quit, then man up and tell everyone why you pissed on your word and are re-posting a 1. If you want to fuck around then move along until you are ready. Either way this first "pause" you put up is pathetic at best.

Choice is clearly yours.

He said right in his original intro he didn't want to quit. Hence only making it 3 days before he gave in.

Either man the hell up or keep sticking the cancer shit in you lip and rubbing your vag.

Yes, I know, you're special and it's really hard to give up nicotine and none of us here would know about that at all.

Are you going to answer up or just pretend you don't see this?

I've been an on and off closet dipper for 10 years. I honestly can't stand it anymore. I'm up to 2 cans a day and my gums are so cut it it's pathetic. I've decided that I'm going to quit tomorrow. I've done this once or twice before and i've hated it every time. I'm at that terrible place where I can't stand dipping anymore, but I don't want to quit either. Anyhow, I know that I have to, and I'm going to, but I'm going to need your help because they only times in the past I was successful and lasted a long time (over a year) off the can was when i used these forums. Anyhow, I'm packing my gums full of the crap today in order to say "goodbye" so that I can begin this journey again tomorrow. Please wish me luck and be there for me when I'm going nuts. Thanks.
Here is your old intro post to September. Looks like you forgot about it.

You should probably make a new one for October.

Where you a member under a different name?

If yes, you need to use your original name.

Welcome to September Kyle.

Listen to the advice. Read all of the website. Then Read it again.

These guys want you to succeed in your quit. Brace yourself because they're gonna tell you how it is and not sugar coat it. Admit your addiction, don't be afraid of the road you will travel. They have all been down that road and are here to help.

Good job admitting it, but you gotta want it.

Own it.

Great job Kyle! You've made your promise, now honor your word, and we'll see you tomorrow.

In the meantime, spend some time around here. There is a shit ton of information you will find invaluable in your quit.

You need anything, you PM me.

Can is really emptied. Flushed. Gone. Ka-poot. I just posted in the September roll call as well. I'm starting now. Today!
Nicely done !! I saw your roll post. Almost but we get the point.

Dont worry about jacking up roll call, we all did it. The important thing is you are quit.

Post roll every morning.
Keep your word.
Repeat.

Welcome to the party !!
