Sorry for the two intros, didnt mean to mix anyone up. I've been keeping irregular hours the past few days (pulled and all nighter from Sunday morning till 11am this morning) and just woke up about and hour ago so I can study from now until my exam at 10am.

This sucks bad and all my friends are hedging bets on how long they think I'l last and the ones who bet on me caving have been waving their tins in front of me. A few are being really supportive though and have promised to smack the shit out of me if I cave. Negative reinforcement... gotta love it.

Struggling really bad right now, constantly chewing gum, trying to focus on studying for my history final.
Listen up puckhead...

Those fucktards are cowards...fools...you are the strong one. When one of those turds puts a can of cancer candy in your face you just think what a fucking machine of badass you are. You have backbone and determination. You don't need that shit. You don't do that shit anymore. They're the weak ones. They are owned. You are not.

Squint. Grit your teeth with an evil grin knowing they are not free but you are.

You have two intro pages going, pick one and start using it as whatever you like. You do not need to start a new page every time.

Carry on...

Hey guys I am posting on this forum so that everyone knows who I am as I try to quit dipping.

I want to quit for the following reasons:
- My desire to hide my addiction has damaged my relationship with my family because I avoid them when I dip, which is basically all the time.
- It's expensive.  I dip a can per day, it adds up.
- It's gross. It gives me bad breath, and leaves my mouth all messed up.  Girls hate it and I hate it too
- MOST IMPORTANTLY: I'm ready to live my life without constantly having to have a dip in.  It is time.

I am finishing up finals at college right now and I don't want to go through withdrawal symptoms during this important time, so starting Saturday May 12 I will quit.  This is not an excuse, it is a calculated move to increase my chances for success.  I've tried quitting many times before, and have gone dip free for anywhere from 2 days to 2 months.  Any support and encouragement you guys can give me will be appreciated.  I will post on this forum everyday after starting May 12 with updates.
The day that you decide you want to quit, you will get my support. Until then, I'm glad that your at least a little closer to possibly deciding to quit. I'm not being an ass, I'm just saying that I had quit tomorrow about a hundred times before I actually got around to quitting today. So, I'm a little skeptical. And I question if you really want to quit.

You need to do some more reading about KTC. When you do, you will find that quitting tomorrow, or any future date, is just not something we put a lot of stock into. We quit today.

When you are ready to quit today, look me up for that support. Good luck with finals.
You are right man, I should quit today. Absolutely. I made a call to set a goal to quit May 12 and it sounds weak I know, but I guess you'll have to wait and see how serious I am when I post roll on May 12.
Hope to see next week. Really do.
Just over 1 month ago my story was almost identical to yours. March 28 I joined KTC I had a elaborate plan to quit on April 11. (happened to be my wife an I 32nd wedding anniversary) For 2 days I read all I could on this website. Something wasn't right about my plan! On the night of March 31 I paced the floor for hours, I knew what I had to do but I didn't want to do it!! I needed to quit, right then. At 1:30 am on April 1 I went to the toilet and bawled as I flushed 3 full cans of my favorite companion (copensnuff) down the toilet, I don't know how and can't explain why but I knew at that moment I would not ever be with this dead love one again. I'm not going to lie and say that I haven't missed her, I have. At times it has been right down heart breaking. Why just today I had some rough things happen and I was thinking about a plan to cave over the next week. It will not happen!! I have people that trust me to call them if I get anywhere near a pinch in my quit. I will post my promise every morning and with new found integrity I will not let my July brothers and sisters down!!!!!
You can wait, that is up to you but remember life goes on and there is always a reason to put the decision off till another day, Ive been doing it for 38 + years I know the sneaky bitches ways.
