Also, kind of late in your quit, but here are some helpful links:

1. Be sure to visit the WELCOME CENTER for what you need to know.
2. Stop by Introductions and tell us something about yourself.
3. Knowing what to expect is found here and here .
4. Print this Contract to give up... ; put it in your wallet and commit to signing it before you can take another dip.
5. Read about Tom and Jenny Kern , It will be a tough read, but do it. Start from the beginning
6. Unsure how to Post Roll? Click here -- How to post roll.
7. For inspiration stop by Words of Wisdom, HOF Speeches, and the Hall of Legends
8. Here are some Suggested Site Settings for KTC.
9. The rules for these boards are few, but check them out nonetheless. Board Guidelines

Gotcha, just posted my first for Day 11, hope I did it right...

Thanks...
Welcome to the MFPC June Platoon! If your quit date is 3/12, then you are in your 12th day of being quit. We count the last day that you have a dip as day one. Your first day nicotine free is day two. I know, it's complicated, but you really never have to worry about it again.

I've added you to the spreadsheet of accountability, which has a link on our roll page. When in doubt (believe me, after about day 17, it's hard to keep track) just go the the spreadsheet to see how many days you are quit.

Glad you clarified your intentions. Itsta gotsta be for yourself, brother! Glad you are on board! The only way you can screw up roll is by not posting. You can fix trying to post correctly. You can't fix not posting. Very glad to see you.

Just for today, Self.

Posting roll happens in a pre-HOF group, not in your intro.

We appreciate the status updates, but post roll. It's the price of admission here.

Day 7. Cannot believe I'm here. Feeling a little better overall, but am already enjoying the benefits. My mouth and gums feel awesome and they're actually red again after so many years of being a grayish pink. Still battling the fog, but mind is becoming sharper and work is a little easier.

Hoping everyone has a great weekend...

Welcome to KTC. Stick around, strengthen your quit, and have fun. BTW we don't try to quit around here, we quit.

Thanks to most that offered constructive words  advice. BTW, I havent quit for my Wife as some have gathered, it's definitely for myself this time.

It's day 6 and the fog is a little better. Hoping to have a productive day at work.

Take care...
Post up roll with June 2016 Pre-HOF and do this each day. This will definitely make it clear that Cope was NOT your best friend but actually your death wish. Come quit with the rest of us each day. This is hard shit to do...this place will make it something that is possible!
Good...good, let the quit flow through you!  -chewie

A lot of ball coddling going on here. Get on roll and read up, ^^if these two quitters can do it so can you.
I agree, ball coddling.

Nicotine is your best friend? Does you best friend try and kill you? Glad you are quit but learn to hate dip and all forms of nicotine..............and get on roll call, don't quit alone. Save your life, it's worth it.
Yes. Congrats on the quit. If it isn't for you and solely you, you will cave. Not a judgement, a fact. I really do hope you meant your new relationship is a motivator and not how I read it as the reason. Even though I am a newbie on here, I dont sugar coat nor do I coddle. Get some numbers of like minded quitters, post roll EVERY DAY (it is a PROMISE to yourself and the group for one more day and what kind of man can you be if you don't hold your promise).

She will whisper in your ear just like she is doing to me, don't listen to that crazy Nic Bitch, I've been ignoring her, and if I can do it you can to my brother.i quit with you today.

30+ year addict here as well on day 5 of a Nicotine free life. I have those same aches and pains you are talking about. Especially in my jaw but also my back. Not sure if if the latter is a symptom itself or (more probable) due to not sleeping all that well. I use Smokey Mountain Wintergreen to help with the cravings (Cope Wintergreen LC was my poison of choice) and it really doesn't taste all that great, but it does satisfy that craving for me when it comes along and that is all that matters.
Unlike quitting products, total adherence to a personal commitment to not violate the law of addiction provides a 100% guarantee of success. Although obedience may not always be easy, the law is clear, concise and simple - no nicotine today, not one puff, dip or chew!
