This place is a wonderful resource and place for community. I can't quite put it into words yet, but I am finding some direction and support here that makes this deal a little easier. And the truth is the instructions are pretty simple. We'd love to have you in the trenches with us. And like Evil said - don't need luck. Just a decision and some brothers a little wiser than me.

Peace.

I agree with these guys. If you've taken the time to sign up and post an intro, you might as well stick around. Start posting roll and get to know some folks.

Great site, wish I would have know about it earlier.  After 20 years of chewing, I quit back in March.  Below is what I told myself to fight cravings and keep motivated.

If I can do six hours, I can do 12 hours

If I can do one day, I can do two days

If I can do two days, I can do four days

For the first couple of days, I constantly told myself this.  When I had thoughts of buying a "reward" can to celebrate my first week, I told myself if I could do one week then I could do two weeks.  I am five months without a dip now, if I can do five then I can do 10.  Soon months will turn to years.

Good luck with quitting, I hope this or something on this site helps you.  If you are serious about it, you will succeed.
Thanks for your insight. We take it one day at a time here and don't need "luck".

Come back and read about how we operate. Start in the "Welcome Center". Do you think you can post roll with us everyday?
What Evil said. The KTC way is similar to your own, we take it only 1 day at a time. We don't worry about being quit tomorrow, next week or next year. We focus only on quitting today. We don't need luck to do that, we just do it. Every day.
Come post roll and make some friends...
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.
quit date 2/10/12
HOF date 5/19/12
1 Year 2/10/13
2 Years 2/10/14
8th Floor 4/19/14

Welcome, never to late to join your respective quit group. Jump in and become a part of this awesome site that quits one day at a time. I know if I want to keep what I have I have to learn to give it away. There were those that were here before me that guided me in the beginning when I asked for help. I am sure you being quit for 5 months will have something to offer to the person that is just starting this one day at a time QUIT journey. So read about the site and get active. I guarantee it will only strengthen your quit. I hope to see you posting roll ASAP. PM me if you have any questions.
