Great site, wish I would have know about it earlier. After 20 years of chewing, I quit back in March. Below is what I told myself to fight cravings and keep motivated.
If I can do six hours, I can do 12 hours
If I can do one day, I can do two days
If I can do two days, I can do four days
For the first couple of days, I constantly told myself this. When I had thoughts of buying a "reward" can to celebrate my first week, I told myself if I could do one week then I could do two weeks. I am five months without a dip now, if I can do five then I can do 10. Soon months will turn to years.
