MAN!!!! Last night was a huge test! I had a get together at my house just a few people were there but a couple of my best friends who are dippers were there. We all had a great time, ate good food and drank some adult beverages. Most importantly they dipped the night away and I had NONE!!! I'm happy as hell right now, I am strong as fuck!! Thanks for your support guys.

That's awesome. I was a ninja dipper so none of my friends are dippers so it makes it easier on me. I'm glad that you were able to keep strong. Makes me proud to be your quit brother. July is rockin it!

I got some Smokey Mtn fake dip today... its not that bad, but I really was struggling this evening and really needed something. I've finally calmed down and chilled a bit. Still no nic and still trucking right along.

Dag, I ordered Hooch on Tuesday.Ã,  Came in today.Ã,  I've had Smokey Mtn before but the Hooch is 2x better in my opinion.Ã,  Get the sampler pack and try them all then order from there.Ã,  I like the classic and spitfire so far.

Nice thanks!!! I may try to hold out for as long as possible on the hooch. If Walmart has that Smokey Mtn I may check the one by my house if need be, I am kind of getting tired of sunflower seeds. I may need to change some thing up soon. How you doing Wedgie?

Hangin' in there Dag. Mornings are ok for me as far as cravings. Worst time is noon-8pm. Woke up last night like I was going to puke, but it subsided. Hopefully I have all of that crap out of my system by now.

That is GREAT man, keep giving dip the 'Finger' !! I've been lucky I haven't had any crazy shit like shakes or puke experiences, thank god! I am still craving but I won't give in... I said earlier in the week that it was time for me to be the that strong man that I know I am, so I am keeping up with it. Sunflower seeds are getting really old, so I may resort to some Hooch or Smokey Mtn once or twice a day to help with the oral fixation. Other than that man lets keep kicking dips ass!

I was Cope long cut. I wasn't really trying to mimic taste, but more the consistency. I hate snuff, just gets everywhere and I could never pack it tight enough. To me, the Hooch packs nicely and isn't messy. One gulp of water and my mouth is clean. Smokey Mountain was like.....um.....you know the mess you get everywhere when you eat corn on the cob? Like that. But....everywhere. Your mouth, chin, pants, hands. The taste isn't really close, but it's good enough to satisfy me.

My strategy with fake dip was to NOT try and mimic what I dipped before but to start a whole new flavor. That way it was like I just changed brands.

Day 3 is here and I am still trucking along with no nic.Ã,  Sunflower seeds and regular Wrigley Spearmint gum is all I've been doing.Ã,  I thought about buying some fake dip like Hooch, but I just don't think its wise.Ã,  Last time I got some fake stuff once I ran out I ran back to the station and bought the real stuff!Ã,  Here is to another day!

You can only get Hooch online - Smokey Mountain is a fake you can buy at most Walmarts -- I dipped for 35 yrs and needed/wanted a crutch to get over the oral fixation issue day 104 now and haven't had a fake dip in nearly two weeks-

do whatever you need to to stay quit but only vent and rage here- not on innocent bystanders like the sage Grizzly25 said!!

Yes that Oral Fixation is what I have the most problems with. So far gum and seeds have done the trick. How is that Smokey Mountain stuff? Surprisingly I have been quite calm I got pissed yesterday but the bystander was far from innocent!
