Interesting to read all of this considering you caved...AGAIN. Looks like you didn't do anything differently. Not much of June had your digits, even when reaching out. You posted and ghosted. Most recently, you were posting once or twice a week. You knew it was coming, and so should all of us.

Change up your shit Jetpack. This is getting old.
Hahaha, I wouldn't waste my time personally...after reading through this thread dude sounds like a 50 year old child. Fuuuuuck, time to grow up bud. Pretend you got a pair and quit already, enough stoppages.

What am I going to do different? I mentioned this before and I will practice it this time: Reach out for support to KTC as well as family members. Post the quit contract in my house, in my car and at work.
I haven't caved. I quit 555 days ago. Still quit. The one thing missing in your "What am I going to do different?" is Quit. You have to decide to be quit. No looking back. Move on to quit.

You are out of the cage. Don't go back. I understand the lure to use. I don't understand giving in to that lure. Nicotine is a slut on the street. Don't go there.

You only mentioned one cave. You didn't even address your 6 day quit in the August 17 group. What happened then? Why are you still hiding that? Why haven't you posted your apology in our August group?

Jet you need to think about these Q's much harder. You are just going through the motions and still don't get it. You will fail again. There is no try, try harder, work on your addiction every day bullshit. Fucking garbage man. You quit plain and simple. Yes you're an addict for life, why do you need to work on that? It's too late to work on not becoming an addict. You need to once and for all make up your mind that you are quit. When shit gets tough, fucking quit harder. Your answers are riddled with addict bullshit playing the fucking victim card. I hope you stay quit buddy but based on these answers you don't have the nuts to do this.

You have the 3 questions. You say KTC was the only success you've ever had tryingntknwuit yet you've faded away twice. And caved twice. If that doesn't tell you that just MAYBE this place works, then think a little longer and harder. Your new group will be Pre-HOF December 2017. You should fit in well there. As of this afternoon they only had 3 members and all there were former KTC cavers reposting. Think about your 3 answers, answer them honestly, get ready for a bashing. Post them in August 2017 and any other group you've been a member of AND in your new group. Also, if you haven't already, flush your stash and spitters, stock up on sunflower seeds, chewing gum, herbal/fake dip, or whatever else you'll need. Post your promise early and every morning, get tonnnow your December brothers, exchange digits. Then, if you start fading away again, you'll have people holding you accountable. That's kind of the cornerstone of this place. Hope to see you posting a day 1 tomorrow.
What, When, Where, How? I last quit chewing October 25 2016 and was in the quit group of February 2017. On May 17th while on vacation I made the huge life changing mistake of letting my family, friends and members of KTC down by beginning to use nicotine again. Did I think being on vacation was also an excuse to take a break from being nicotine free for months and throwing it all away? Just plain dumb! There is no excuse other than thinking I could try chewing once and think I would have the power to actually remain in control. IÂ’ve read it on KTC and on other websites concerning addiction. When you are an addict you will always be one, that is never going to change. If you cheat, you have to start all over again, which in my case took 5 long months to ween myself back off nicotine in preparation to quit again. Let me tell you, as most of you know, itÂ’s agonizing and harder than actually staying quit. My God I donÂ’t want to do this again. Addiction is a bitch, itÂ’s something you have to work on every day and be accountable for. There is no way around just doing something once if are an addict.
What am I going to do different? I mentioned this before and I will practice it this time: Reach out for support to KTC as well as family members. Post the quit contract in my house, in my car and at work. These are things I did not do before. I never wanted to admit I needed support from others. All my life when any task needed to be done it was always my belief that if you want something done do yourself! Well, itÂ’s time to realize that sometimes you need others support to get through things such addiction. It kills me to admit I failed, it pisses me off IÂ’ve been unsuccessful in doing this by myself, not once but twice! I hate it every day. The more important thing now is to push my anger and selfishness aside and work hard for my family, KTC and myself. Hopefully, this successful group will accept me back in to continue my quit.

Let me add some context from the August 17 group that you were in for 6 whole days. You started posting and then some of the vets figured out that you were in a previous group. After you posted day 6 on 5/23, they started asking for the three answers. You were never heard from again until 4 days ago. Hope you don't get scared off again because you are asked to answer some questions. Hope you show us a little more respect this time. You exchanged digits with nobody in August that I saw. We couldn't get a hold of you after you went MIQ. At that time, we had someone who was going through the loss of their father and they stayed quit. What was your excuse? It couldn't have been worse than that? Waiting for answers to be posted in the August 17 group.

If you are serious this time, shoot me a PM and I will be happy to exchange digits with you so you have someone to get a hold of if you ever think of caving again.

Ok I'm in and writing my responses to the questions for caving, talked this over with family, had a serious discussion, and quit chewing since I last logged in. I've also read over all the responses about being serious and not bull shitting the people on this site. I'll post the response tonight, hopefully with your acceptance, I can post day one tomorrow morning or today for that matter.
It's the Law of Addiction. It's pretty friggin' simple. You can't have just one! Get that?

YOU CAN'T HAVE "JUST ONE"!!! "JUST ONE" MEANS YOU'VE MOVED FROM QUIT TO USING!!

It's that friggin' simple. It's that friggin' hard. Stay quit.

Ok, I will get it together. I will spend some time writing why I failed and why I want back in. No offense taken about being a 2x looser, it's true. I owe my family this. Not going on a rant, but who would believe chewing tobacco could be this hard to quit! I'm sure most of us are ass kickers with everything we do, but some stupid stuff like this is so hard to stop. If I only knew!!!! God this sucks!!
Soooo... this is your 3rd "try", eh?

I'm going to flat out admit I'm a little "Old School KTC" and I'm not down with multiple chances.
Not even a little.

I won't apologize for saying that I think you should not be allowed to "try" again.

Multi-Cavers suck and taint this site.

You didn't get it the first time... you didn't get it the second time... and your track record doesn't inspire confidence in this 3rd time.

However, the sheer number of you weak bitches make me tired so...

Own it this time.

JetPack...I WAS a 20+ year Cope and Grizz user. Before I found this site this Spring, I had tried to quit multiple times, only to fail because: (1) I had not set up a support network. (2.) I did not arm myself with tools and information. (3.) I can't say I took my past quits serious enough. Lack of dedication.

KTC offers an environment that helps with all the things I mentioned above with the added benefit of ACOOUNTAILITY!

As a former member, as you are, I can understand caving once while here. But I'm kind of with this Guy on this. With all the support and accountability being offered here, how can you cave and cave again? Think about that. Do not get back on here and take advantage of people that want to help you. Get back on here, and be 100% committed, no excuses.
As a member of the first group JetPack48 caved out of, I have this to offer:

JetPack was constantly late for roll. Disrespected the process, didn't really get 'all in', and so on. I saw that cave coming from a mile away.

I belong to a Facebook group called WhyQuit, for people who are Quitting nicotine. You can find it here (offsite link):

https://www.facebook.com/groups/whyquit/

Their policy is very simple: You cave; you're banned forever. Although I prefer to post here, due to WhyQuit being too much of a 'walled garden' for my tastes (since when are 'damn' and 'crap' swear words? Apparently WhyQuit's admins think they are 'bang head' ) I can get behind the whole 'caver scum fuck off' mentality that they have over there. You CHOSE to cave.

So...get all in. It's just a matter of posting roll every day and keeping your word. Stuff like digits, GroupMe, or whatever helps a lot, but is not required. Get into the WUPP habit - or if you're night shift like me, PWUP. 'winker'

So, JetPack...you all in?
