Three weeks! Three m-f'ing weeks!

I know it's nothing in the grand scheme of things and I'll probably be more amazed in three more weeks but I am amazed that I haven't dipped in three weeks. I am a happy camper right now.
hey man... Nice meeting you on chat. My first time there. So now Im stalking you!! I read your intro. This line stood out big time. I am three weeks. 3 weeks is nothing but I am amazed by it like you where.

In other news, I just bought a PayDay out of a vending machine and it was pretty fucking awesome.

Ok. I'm done. Continue on.

Yep... she was pretty cranky once she learned there were no more "MeeMos" (Nemo) this morning. I ate every last one of them!

Here I am a little over 10 weeks in.  Thinking I have it whooped.  Getting big headed as I have been out for some beers a few times without any slips, or major caves.  Went on my AT duty for 2 weeks without any major caves.  I've been excited all day for this evening... COLLEGE FOOTBALL STARTS!  Had a good day at work... good day at little league practice... came home and got situated for a night of peace and football.  Cracked a couple of cold ones... then BAM!  BAM BAM BAM.  All I could think about for a good half hour was some Grizzly Wintergreen. I went upstairs and stuffed my face with some chips and the baby's fruit snacks.  Seemed to squash it for now.  Wow.  I hadn't had  a good crave in quite a while.  Kind of a punch in the face from addiction reality!
Never know when the bitch will strike. Prime example of guarding your quit at all times. It's good that you've shared that here, not only for yourself, but for others to see as well. Constant reminder to all of us that we are addicts. Addicts have to quit EVERYDAY. There is no, "I'm healed! Let's get on with my life!" As addicts we have to bear this cross daily, and fight for our freedom. Some days, no craves and some are down right brutal. We weren't given this burden if it were something we could not handle.

Those were the baby's favorite fruit snacks!!!!!!! Collateral damage.....HAHAHAHA.

Five weeks down, and something just dawned on me.  I leave tomorrow night for my two weeks in the bush.... (Army reserve!).  Don't write me off as a caver because I seriously doubt that I will be posting for two weeks.  I will if I get access to the internet, but can't make any promises.  No I won't be texting either...  I think I'll be OK as long as we don't get dropped into the desert or something lol.  As long as I don't pack any dip, I will stay quit.  At last time I checked there were only 2 other guys in the unit that dipped that I know of and as long as I tell them I quit, they should be pretty solid in not letting me bum from them too.
As long as I don't pack any dip, I will stay quit.

Umm seriously ?
That is in response to me saying that since I won't be posting roll... that I'm not to be written as caving. Unless I physically purchase and pack the shit, it will be impossible for me to cave because the United States Army isn't going to let me make a run to the store. So yes SERIOUSLY.
Beware!! July had a quitter in exactly the same situation after 2 weeks he returned posted couple times and left!! Some of us felt like the last few posts were probably post cave posts!! Not that I don't trust you just be very careful, have your plan in place for every possible opportunity to cave!! Thank you for your service!

You willing to toss away a 5 week quit on some weak shit like this? What you need is a solid plan, not a hope that one of your buddies who is still a user will see the error of his ways and support you. How many times in the past have your " friends" lured you back to the can?

Think about this before you end up in a bad situation. I have seen numbers offered. Use the tools...

STAY QUIT

Here is the deal, "packing dip" is not even an option. I would seriously suggest finding any way possible to post roll each and every day. I realize military obligations are serious but I would find some way if you can.. If you can text, PM me and I will give you my number and I will post for you everyday if you text me...
