Dubyas, thanks for the support. 1000 seems like a long time but it goes by really fast when you take things 1 day at a time. Its amazing what a little accountability can do for ya. Thanks to all of KTC and here's to 1000 more!

Looks like this Intro is a little dusty. Well, today is damn fine day to dust off this intro and give TonyS a big huge KTC Comma Congrats. Damn fine job Brotha Tony. Super proud of ya. That Comma is about as fine an accomplishment as a person can earn. And earn is the right word. Can't buy it. Can't inherit it. Can't steal it. You earn it by investing in your Quit each and every day. Minute by minute. Hope you get to celebrate this accomplishment. You've earned it. Proud to be Quit with you Tony.

Hi y'all, I am not stranger to the site as I completed 100 days in the December 2013 class. When I returned to college in January '14, it wasn't long before I went out partying and figured I could have "1 dip" from a buddy. Figured I had learned how to "control it". I was wrong. Fast forward to today, and I am back to my old ways, knocking down a can every day or 2. Nicotine is not something I can control. If given any opportunity at all, it controls me. I know now that I will never be "cured", but will have to battle the addiction each day for all days.

Today is day 1 of me fighting back. What will be different this time? The experience of hitting 100 and failing has taught me that there is no mark to hit where you will suddenly be "all good". It is an every day battle and I'm walking back to the front line. I quit today!

Bump. 100 days is coming up, you need to reread what happened last time. Dont forget this shit. I expect to see you more engaged throughout this time thru your HOF. Be active here, not just roll posts. Check your PM.
Thanks Schaef, this is a great reminder. No quit is untouchable unless you make it that way every single day, ODAAT.

Made it to one week boys. I am chewing a lot of Smokey Mountain, which makes me feel guilty but there's no nic and no tobacco so its a hell of a lot better than the real shit. Worst symptom? By far the hit my concentration is taking. I can hardly accomplish anything at work. But you know what I can accomplish? Completing today without any Nic. Thanks for the support boys.
Hang in there Tony. You're doing the right things, saying the right things, and have the right attitude.

Chew the hell out of that Smokey Mountin - it's an amazing tool that should be utilized.

Tony, well bud glad to see you are hanging in there. I am even happier that it is not going easy for you. Remember once you were past all this, now you are right back in it. You know the path, stay on it this time and keep on using your intro and posting roll. As you know that works when done correctly.
I guess it goes without saying Tony...You don't want to go through this again. So make it count. I'm quit with you today.

Welcome Dude (again), chew catshit, dogshit, birdshit, whatever it takes to not put the poison in your mouth. While you're doing this, read. Seriously read and keep reading. The material here is more important than textbooks at college. College ain't gonna help you when your jaw is surgically removed.
Wrap your brain around the facts on the poison you are addicted to. Learn all you can, because it knows you through and through. Learn how to "re-wire" with the KTC koolaid. Take what you need here, give when and what you can. Stick around and your quit will stick. Make up your mind when you go to sleep. Make up your mind when you wake. Don't dip, do something else. Anything else that is not self destructive. ODAAT and NAFAR, period
When you're going through hell, keep going!
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
It's poison I tell ya, You wouldn't drink Liquid Drano, would ya?

If you are a man of your word, you don't fail of you post.

The only people, THE ONLY PEOPLE, that fail post HOF are those that stop posting.

I'm a pretty simple guy. Not the sharpest tool in the shed by a long shot... But I continue to not understand why anyone, particularly the super smart younger guys than me on ktc... Would ever stop posting.

It takes seconds a day. Seconds.

Post roll. Honor your word.
